I voted but the picture would have been better if it had been at The Friendly Confines buuuuuuuuuuuuut anyway...... LOL! I actually like the Skydome because of how much it reminds me of Wrestlemania 6. Seems like watching a baseball game there would feel sorta "detached" though because aren't they in like basically a pit pretty far from the crowds?

You're welcome! I'm a Nikon guy myself. D3X and an F5. Medium format for big landscapes. I like your shot though, I'm not a baseball fan.

Thanks!! I got the tickets free for my birthday present. Baseball isn't my thing either it's too slow.

I flipped a coin when I was figuring out which brand to go for and it landed on Canon lol you can't go wrong with either. Here's my website that I'm slowly putting together jimpohlman.weebly.com using the free version for now so the weebly is in the url

Nice shots! I've got some on fineartamerica.com search John Vincent photos. There's more than one of us with the same name. Mine start with "Hoodoo You Love"

Thanks for that. I'll keep you in mind. I don't print on canvas much. I like the high gloss look. 17 in. printer? I'm glad I don't have your ink bill!

The absence of love for baseball in this thread is just hurting my soul so badly. LOL! My wife likes amateur photography as well and a few years ago took some classes at UT about how to take good pictures and things. She got one of those real nice Canon cameras but hardly ever gets to use it anymore when we're doing things because of so much preoccupation with the kids. Seems like most people nowadays just use their cell phone camera for everything. There's actually this guy that has a youtube channel called SoCalProductions or something like that and he goes on dark rides at Disneyworld and films them with this crazy night vision camera that he has. I didn't realize just how awesome that camera was until I took my GoPro Hero Session with me on this past trip and I couldn't get a good video of anything because of how low the light was. It takes tons of patience to learn how to use a camera good.

I had a 6 color photo printer. Since I don't print that often, and when I do, it's 16x22 or larger I found it's cheaper to take my files or slides to a place in town to have them do it. Chrome digital. If you're in San Diego, check them out!
