We have to play the Colts on a short week of prep. Andrew Luck is going to kill us. :roflmao:

For sure. It fits the pattern of win and then a loss. At least we beat the Ravens lol

I'm not counting on that pattern holding up. This team is slowly circling the drain.

If it really holds to the pattern.. it would be Steelers picked to lose and end up dominating the game.

Can someone find me an emoticon with its head in the sand while twirling a towel??

Unfortunately I don't see them dominating any game, if we happen to win it will be by the skin of out teeth at best. I have never, in all my years, remember watching the Steelers in this much disarray. I'm lucky in that I was able to watch the Steelers for all 4 of their 70's championships and in those years they had bad games, and afterward, during the 80s the defense stayed steady while the offense tried to score points. When Cowher took over there was the same type of team building going on, stay dominant on defense and just try to score a few points by running the ball. In that time I've watched and wondered, as many other older fans have too, at what this team would look like with an offense that could score points and Cowhers last years we got to see it come to fruition. The problem though is that even when we got the first championship since the 70's, the defense was already in decline, if you remember back then, teams with good QBs could pick us apart all day, we didn't give up big plays but dink and dunk teams like the cheatriots, would march up and down the field and we could stop it. We were lucky in that we now could score regularly but even then, when you thought things were getting bad, someone would make a play and change the course but not this team. Sadly, it looks like the defense isn't capable of stopping a Mike Glennon or a Brian Hoyer let alone a Aaron Rodgers or a Andrew Luck, and the offense can't score against the worst defenses, how do we score against the good ones?? This is the worst Steelers team I've watched and it is hard to watch the level of play and know that it wasn't that long ago we were good, what happened is beyond me but I will continue to watch at least 1 quarter of horrid play calling and execution before changing the channel.

Don't forget about this week. Friggin Ryan Fitzpatrick is going to kill us. Long gone are the days of a dominating defense. Time to let the young'uns play. We have 0% chance of the playoffs.

Next year's draft needs to be 4 CBs and 4 DL. Maybe we can get lucky and hit on one or two. Sigh...

I could easily see us going 0-3 over the next three games.

What we have been seeing makes no sense to anyone... and that's why I said dominate the game.

The talent is there but whats going on is anyone's guess. We all speculate it to be one thing or another but only those peole inside those hallowed halls really know.

We'll see. Our roster is good enough to beat Houston and split with Indy and Baltimore, but I'm not sure that will happen with the way the team has performed. We weren't bad enough last year to start 0-4, or lose to the Raiders when it looked like we were getting on a roll, yet both of those things happened.
