Enjoyed his after the game dinner with Bob Kraft-y and Bellicheat. He is such a New England tool.

 

We ALWAYS get stuck with him.....At one point, I wondered if he even realized that the Pats were LOSING the game- He was endlessly praising them :bye:

 

OMG- I was ready to throttle him. Wonder if his hand hurts from all that stroking...

 

I'm betting Simms has a pair of knee pads permanently attached to his body for special occasions. One pad says PAT the other says RIOTS!

Hate Simms... Not sure why he has a beef with us. I used to feel this way about Chris Collinsworth, but I think he came around and realized being a cincy homer was ridiculous and unjustified. Joe Buck sucks too. I can make a whole list of commentators who have a bias and I think it stems from the 70"s. I really don't see another franchise who has such wide spread lack of respect who aren't fans. Maybe Dallas, but there is a different tone to the anti dallas crowd. I just think it's a small city thing maybe. Or that for years we weren't a high scoring potent offense.

Maybe commentators thought smash mouth running and stifling defense wasn't a fun game to call

 

I was waiting for Phil to say "No, my favorite team lost!" at the end of the game. He kept going on and on about the Polomalu play, hoping somehow the Cheatriots would get the ball back lol

 

I was hoping a simms thread would get started. After having the great Dan Dierdorf do the cards game, I knew we would get this ass clown. Is they're anyway we can send tweets to this twit? I want to send him a nice message :evil:

 

He is absolutely the WORST! I hate him. I deleted Inside the NFL as a favorite from my DVR because he is on teh show! That's how much I hate him. ANd of course you know he is doing the Ravens game .......oh wait, just realized he isn't b/c we are the Sunday night game this week!! WOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!

Simms was so pro-pats yesterday it was painful. I ended up turning the sound off and listening to music by the end.

 

There you go with that sarcasm again. Please tell me it's sarcasm. Simms is an azz pirate.

 

Great use of the horsey sword guy! Seems like the first (and possibly only) appropriate use of them!

 

I have started watching the games on TV while listening to the radio broadcast on my laptop. I love it! It is great to get a Steelers bias while watching the action live. Most times, the broadcast were simultaneous. A couple times the radio broadcast was not back from commercial when the action started but they caught the listeners up quickly. Still, it was worth it and if you have a computer nearby, I suggest listening to the game on your computer through WDVE.

However on the TV broadcast, I did not like how often Robert Craft was shown during the game. Rooney was only shown once that I remember and it was our home field! Why does everyone love the Patriots and their cheating owner so much? I am not a fan!

 

Phil Simms is just the worst. I'd like to kick him in his head and watch him fall down 4 flights of stairs.

 

You guys don't get it.

Simms is a homer just like ESPN carries water for NY and Boston.

Pittsburgh is a small market. Boston and NY make up, what close to 20 million. Since he was a Giant, he does not stray far from home. He will root for NY and the Pats just to keep the fans their happy. But you should also know that he is not that well liked in Boston either.

Remember too that the Steelers have 4 rings during their main run and he was around for the last two. Seeing the Giants won two, he probably thinks Parcell and his Giant teams were better than the Steelers and thus this is where the no respect comes in.

In the long run, what does it matter? ESPN hates the Steelers as do many of the TV announcers. It is nothing new.

Jim 43, I love when Dierdorf does our games! He watches and talks about the line play!

 

I wonder if he takes happy pills from all the hits he took or delivered, everything was great to him sounded like he was on cloud 9. I like the guy he sounds down to earth unlike some of these idiots who you want to kick in the face.

I wanted to hear tom jackson, cris carter, no brains keyshawn johnson and Chris Birdman about the Steelers carving the Pats up. Ditka was the only one who picked us to win
