I hope Ben comes back

They haven't run one in years

 

The middle of the Defense has been missing that run stopping NT since Big Snack left Hargrave is not the answer, we need to pick up a Vet in free agency. Teams are killing us up the middle!!!

 

I mentioned that Brady gets up and snaps the ball quick so defense doesn’t get set. Now, is that on Ben? Or the coaches?

 

5 TDs and 469 yards against the best secondary in the league but he is the problem? I got roasted here for saying how bad this defense was all season and the team managed to pull together and still win. This is on the coaching staff, look at NE, I know we are all sick of it but they had defensive problems early in the season and they corrected it, Tomlin knew the run defense was bad going back to the Bears game and did nothing to fix it.

 

Yeah all Ben has to do is leap and stretch the ball, but no he wants to throw for a touch down!!!

 

Show of hands! How many of you on here calling for Ben to retire remember what is was like BEFORE Ben?

 

When will they learn, that going for it at 4-1 is not working so try a sneak, but nooo they have go for the score!!! That' the difference late in games.

No idea... Ben is a giant and was very successful when they ran them. Either they want to prevent injury or they like the chance of maybe breaking a big one?

 

Agree, but one play you don't call against a fast defense is run wide on sweeps.

 

First, I definitely want Ben back next season but, I will disagree with the amazing game part. He didn't win the game. That would have been amazing He put this team into a 14 point hole that they couldn't dig out of.

 

I just watched his press conference, he is coming back which is great news. Now, if they can sign Bell, that would be great.

I'm not seeing it as "rust". He didn't seem to be horribly off-target or fixated on AB. That pick was a very good play by Jack. The fumble? Yeah, he held onto the ball too long. But the pocket wasn't collapsing--AV's man broke free, ran around, and nailed him from where AV wasn't. Unexpected.
