We talk about MT taking the team to the playoffs or SB. Well after giving that some serious thought, I came the conclusion that hell he can’t even win a challenge.

What if he doesn’t lose a challenge, how deep have you considered that?

 

No, there's all kinds of ways to pursue and encounter the subject that MT sucks: 1.) The current state of the offense. Sure we won, but after an entire off-season and all that time and energy used to improve the woeful offense, it has actually got worse than last year. Yes, all indicators express that the team O has got worse, not better. Who else do we blame other than the head coach? 2.) The team defense has actually worsened over last year's team. By whatever matrix you choose, the D has gotten less fortified than last season.

 

So, how does this work? If you want to put $ down on MT NOT winning a playoff game or SB, how long do you have to wait to collect on it? How would that work?

 

I have not seen the bet, but I will tell You if You tried hard enough....You can find someone to take that bet. You would be very surprised at the things that are bet on. I promise You I heard as many people say that Cowher would not ever win a SB , and neither would the Steelers as long as He was a coach....Hell I even heard it said the Year We won one... when we went on that 3 game losing streak in like November to Baltimore, Blown out by the Colts, and Cincinnati. Of course You know what each , and everyone of those people say now.....I wasn't one of them.....Yeah Bull$hit. You can go to the old original board there were just as many saying that as now say that about Tomlin. You know what's the common thread.....they didn't know what the hell they were talking about.

 

I hear what you are saying , but what I'm saying is if they listen to the all the fans We may not have won anymore SBs. You know there were just as many people screaming for His head then as there are now for Tomlin. That's all I'm getting at.

 

Just between You, and Me....I have never understood the ...hasn't won a playoff game stuff. I understand the ...Not making the playoffs, or the not winning SBs, but to this day I don't get the not winning playoff games stuff. Here Me out...
This is how I've always looked at the NFL. You make the playoffs, or not, and You make the SB, or not. There is no in between. You can only have a chance of winning a SB if You make the playoffs.....after that one playoff game win , or two means very little if You don’t make the SB. Teams that win one playoff game a year are no closer to winning a SB than any team that made the playoffs. I'm not really explaining this the way I'm trying to. In My mind it's only....1. Make the playoffs.....2. Go to the SB. Any thing less is what???? Some bragging rights???
So I could actually get behind the fire Tomlin, Cowher, and whomever because we haven't made the playoffs in so many years, but I can't just because we haven't won a playoff game. Honestly.... how much closer, once You make the playoffs is a coach, or a team that wins a playoff game every year, and don't go to the SB compared to a team that make the playoffs every year, and doesn't win a playoff game???

 

But only two get in like You said...so really anything else is just what??? Bragging... false contentment.....

If We go years without making it to the playoffs....then You will hear me. In My eyes like I said there is only two things. Make the playoffs....Make the SB. Buffalo has won a bunch of playoff games lately....how many SB wins does that give them....0, but they made the playoffs....so at least they have a chance.
