I wish I would have paid more attention to him. He got me 40 FF points for my bench.

It amazing how they use him in QB scenarios, rushing and also of course as a WR

I never said that ever. I have not actually weighed in on that conversation. Mostly reading and learning others thoughts on that issues. IMHO I say use him as much as he can help this team. Based on our RZ efficiency how could it actually hurt.

If there is a game to use Fields more, it would be tonight. A running quarterback just had a massive game against the Browns Sunday. Fields is every bit as dynamic a runner as Taysom Hill. Under normal conditions, I wouldn't mess around with that, but with the rain and wind, more of a focus on the running game might make sense.

Makes sense. I bet they said something to him about it during film breakdown.

Yeah I've seen how they've used him for years...., and they've won nothing doing it.
Yet they won a SB not doing it.

How many people seen on one of our redzone attempts Patterson knock Pickens down, and take them both out of the play???

the way you draw corollary and causation is curious.

I have friends that say "Lamar sucks". "He hasn't won anything". Ok, that is true, so far in his career. Neither did John Elway, until ~ year 15 or so, but I never thought he sucked, until magically year 15. I never thought Dan Marino or Dan Fouts sucked because they 'never won a Super Bowl'.

So - because you use a formation (Fields or Hill) and you 'don't win a Super Bowl' does NOT MEAN that it did not make you a better team and increase your odds or advance your team into the season, help you win more game or get you further into the playoffs.

    the logic sometimes, the logic........:hmm:

I don’t particularly like it, never been a fan of doing that. Even back when Cowher would do it with Slash.

I don’t think it would cause any problems in the locker room or anything like that, I just feel Russ is the starter so let him lead the team for better or worse.

Pretty much every defense would expect Fields to run or hand it off anyway, yes he is a threat to throw it but not sure how beneficial it would be for the team to use him.

I don't think You thought about this very well.....Lamar Jackson has not went to a SB in that time..hell He has 2 playoff wins.....Elway had been to two , or 3 SB in that same time. So  since Your logic there was very flawed....I didn't pay attention to what else you wrote.

    This 100.
Hell RBs hate it when they drive all the way down the field, and You change out Rbs, and that position is used to it.....How do they think Qbs would like it.....a position that is not used to it???? Of course they will say it ok, but Like P. Manning, and Eli said ....it causes unnecessary pressure on the Qbs. Of you want then both out there at the same time....fine. That's a whole different thing.
