This D looks so much better when Shazier is in and the Man is apparently good to go. We're gonna win this sandwich!

Steelers do play well on Monday nights too for some reason. We"ll see.

Might be asking a bit much of Vick not to put the ball on the ground two games in a row. Have a feeling thats going to bite us in the ass this game.

chargers are averaging 2 turnovers a game
I can see us picking Rivers twice in this game easily too.
hopefully a forced fumble or two too
of course we have to capitalize on them

This. Mondays are like an old friend but Vick worries me.

One big key is to stop Gates. The Gronkowski owning is fresh in the mind. Knock the S*## out of Phillis Rivers.

Establish the run, and keep the pounding coming...

10 days off will mean nothing if Haley can't come up with better plays for a Vick led offense, if the D can't make a stop with the lead and a minute to go, and if the special teams keeps points off the board.

Having said that, we'll crush them, they suck (so long as we don't suck worse)

Just remember what O'l Jack Burton says... "Have you paid your dues Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail!"

    We got this!

I think brown is pissed that his streak is over
We have a great 1...2 punch in bell/Williams
Bryant is back and out to show his appreciation for another chance
    Defense is looking ...surprisingly good
    New kicker

I always have hope we'll win... Well until next week. The Cardinals are prolly gonna beat us.
BUT right now, we're talking about the Chargers. Here are a few of their injured. All are Questionable- which will help us.
    Brandon Flowers (CB)
    King Dunlap (T)
    Orlando Franklin (T)
    Also, receivers
Jacoby Jones, Steve Johnson, & Malcom Floyd

In the past 4 games, they've averaged about 309 pass yards/game and 102 rush yards. (In 3 out of the 4 games, they were kept under 100 rush yards. But in Week 2 against the Bengals, they had 131 rush yards, so it brought their average up.)

With all that said, IF we play like we CAN, we should be able to take the run game out & make Rivers throw. Our biggest problem isn't their QB, it's ours.
We could win! We need to win.

I can see Vick hang in there for a couple qrts then peter out.

Rivers is tossing some TD passes lately.

Praying for a miracle that we can find a way to hold on in the 4rth

Jacoby Jones is historically the biggest threat.

Rivers is leading the league in passing yds right now and Keenan Allen is averaging a tick under 100/game. Need to keep some focus on this connection imo.

Lets face the facts, with Ben out this offense is in flux, we have tomlin over ruling Haley's play calls, and the O players dont have the confidence in vick to run the offense, they cant get in sync like they did befor, and with no rhythm, points are hard to come by, hoping to win a game isnt the same as doing it, I have no idea what the steelers will look like monday night, but playing a road game with this coaching staff going in different directions doesnt bode well for a win.........

I don't want to face facts!
I want to believe our defense will force a couple turnovers! I want to listen to Tunch & Wolf & let them give me false hope. On Sunday, when some underdog wins (maybe Rams?), I'll want to believe that we can win too! On Monday I'll wear my Steelers gear everywhere I go. If we do lose Mon night, I'll be in a very, very bad mood & curse the Rams for hurting Ben. If we win, I'll be in a good mood till Tuesday.

Then I'll do all of that over again! (Maybe with a little less hope since we play the Cardinals.)

The O players as in, Brown?

Literally the only person I've read that said they were out of sync?

He's making up excuses for his lost record and a dropped touchdown that would have continued his record.

Let's be honest. I would too.

It's not that he doesn't have "confidence," because he absolutely has no choice.

The offense of coordinator certainly seems to have confidence.

Leveon Bell didn't seem to mind.

I'm sure as hell Vick believes he has confidence.

Don't much agree with that "fact" lol.

    Facts are:

Steelers are good enough on offense AND defense to beat the chargers.

So let's face facts, and not one player's comment after a bad game. One he was forced into I might add.

I hate to say it, but coaching is going to be the main focal point for the next few weeks. We saw it last week, and plenty last year with Ben. I guess we will see.

Brown still has the 5 catch record just not the 50 yards.
