I expected a better performance from Mitch Trubisky

I don’t get that logic. The price of the win wasn’t an injury to Watt. Would’ve been the same injury if we would have lost. The win and the injury are not connected.

Yeah 5 turnovers, a turnover on downs, 6 sacks, a pick 6, and a block field goal had nothing 2 do with it. LoL

When the game was on the line under 2:00 minutes Mitch delivered.

Also 2 minutes. See what I did there?

    Nabbing the win was though.

The game is won... but TJ is out.. for who knows how long. I am pleased with the first win of the season but injuries are just as relevant to any game as winning/losing. Difference here is that to win, the team payed a high price.

In all seriousness I don’t really care who starts at QB as long as we’re winning games. Ultimately I want to see Pickett since he’s going to be the future.

I'm really just down about losing, or possibly losing Watt.
We know how much difference He makes, and if We can only score one offense Td with 6sacks, 5 turnovers, a turnover on downs, a pick 6, and a blocked field goal.....We actually.... maybe.... for the very first time ...worse than I thought. So ....Im actually for the 1st time bummed about it.

He had a good enough team around him to do so.

For what it is worth: I think Mitch is better than Mark, the comparison comes from them having similar career arcs, at least to me.
Backing up nobodies in college>play great in 1 year of action>teams overhype limited sample size> get overdrafted>some success early with drafting team but not the reason they win>let go after just 4 years>other teams realize you were never that good>bounce around he league as a backup/occasional starter (Mitch is at this stage)>become permanent backup>retire.

I’m just curious if Bengal Fans are wanting Burrow benched. Mitch didn’t have the best game. But Mitch did put us in position to get the Win. Burrow had that same chance and fumbled….just sayin.

Mitch had some horrible throws, but none were picked off.

I’m not 100% sure who I would rather see in at QB. But for many to automatically think that Pickett being in would have been any different I’m not sold on. He would have had the same play calls, the same no running game, the same offensive line.

Im simply cutting Mitch some slack, this was the first game that this offense has played a whole game together. With that said I’m happy with the win and I’m happy that Mitch didn’t turn the ball over and do something to make us lose. But he did a heck of a job putting us in the position to win it when it mattered.

Without 6 sacks, 5 turnovers, a turnover on downs, a pick 6, and a blocked field goal......Just a simple question. What would that have gotten us???

there honestly is noway anyone will ever know, I’m just going by what I seen today. And the biggest thing people are saying is that with a different QB the game would have never went that way.

people assume if Pickett or Mason for that matter was in the game we would have just mopped the floor with them. Sorry not gonna happen with that line, play calling and lack of run game.

I have always been and will always be a Big Ben fan, and there is no guarantee the game would have been any different with him in there with the same to work with.

No You are quite correct. You can't predict anything, and it's dumb to try, but.....I don't think any team has lost with all I mentioned., and I don't think We can expect the D will force all of that again.

I agree. You can always look at what ifs..if the O converts more first downs..and Ultimately gets some more points the D is in a different place. The ref decisions..even bad are not as much a factor. Injuries will still happen, but would TJ have been in that place? He always plays hard, but a different approach. Moot because it did happen, just saying of the O had been more efficient the entire game plan changes.
