I don't think "Mr. Inconsistency" [Ben] likes the big game. He chokes.

Ben has been around for about 13 years now, and nobody here can honestly say they ever saw him play with emotion or display ANY emotion on the sidelines.
Besides elation. He is happy or he is like a deer in the headlights.
Nobody here ever saw Ben get fired up during a game.

I can clearly remember all the great ones display anger and frustration, and thats okay. For some reason Ben suppresses his anger to the point that the only emotion he feels allowed to display is fear.

I'm perplexed by the absence of emotion from Ben. When things are going poorly, he just stands on the sidelines all wide eyed and staring.

There is something to be said for stoicism, but the display of emotion can incite confidence in you. Tomlin is exactly the same as Ben. Tomlin displays great joy, or he just gets wide eyed and stoic. In the heat of battle its ok to display controlled anger.

If this is an attempt at trolling, it's really, really bad.

    I miss Real Steel.

I think he's actually under the impression that he knows what he's talking about.
If you remember some of those Tajai Boyd threads he posted it says it all.

You know everyone is blaming Ben for his lack of execution in the red zone, but let's not forget what he is working with as far as receivers.

AB - one of the best in the game for sure.

Coates - not part of offense due to broken fingers which are probably going to need surgery.
DHB - never known for his hands
Ayers - Rookie who started year on PS
Hamilton - Not a rookie, but first time ever playing really and started year on PS
Rogers - Not a rookie, but was on IR all last year and so this is his first year.
James - TE who is still trying to get things figured out.

Missing - Bryant and Green. If we had those guys both healthy, do you think we are struggling in the redzone?

So am i to presume that you have seen Ben fired up and emotional on the sidelines or in a game? Please share if you have a memory of that.
The FACT is that Ben is either jubilant or like a deer in the headlights. He ALWAYS hides his emotions.
Momentum shifts feed off emotions, so in football, emotions are good.
BEN HAS NONE. why call me a troll when its true?
