Tomlin is not going to retire.

A super bowl win is what we want. Those other scenarios are icing on the cake. But not necessary for a successful season.

Oh how I've heard that comment before. It just doesn't work. I have family members who said if Steelers win this SB I'm done with them. I'm going out a winner. So far none of them have stopped following the Steelers. I'm around eagle fans who after their SB win they said they got it finally and can die happy, yet they are bitching and moaning about this season big time.

Ben MVP would be huge. IMO his best SB was the one we lost but his best moment was the drive to win it against the Cardinals. Otherwise he didn't really kick ass in his SB's.

Nah, we have to keep watching to see if Rudolph is any good as a starter.

Tomlin ain`t retiring unless he wins the Powerball Lottery or something like that, LOL.

Actually I've heard it a lot. Although I've yet to see anyone follow through. I always say give me one more Pirate World Series and I will be done with all sports forever. Needless to say I'll never be done with sports until I'm ash.

I was raised on the Pirates. Love the Steelers and Penguins but if a magic sports genie gave me one wish before I die I'd love to see one more World Series.

I would not stop watching, but I will say that after watching 6 Super Bowl wins, including 4 by the time of 8th grade, I'm pretty content and my expectations and satisfactions are low. I will be unhappy - embarrassed- if they lose tonight, but otherwise any result to this season that is not a playoff loss to Baltimore I can live with.

I could quit watching the Steelers if...

They moved to Baltimore and changed their name.

Actually, I'd quit football in total.
