Well, I do understand his frustration. However, let us not jump to any illogical conclusions here.

Brown, in no way, is throwing Ben or Fichtner under the bus. Just some frustration and nothing more.

I would imagine his catches will go up in the next couple of games; Ravens included.

I hear ya and agree but this is the stuff that the media runs with and it festers like we've all seen into some other dumb and unneeded crap.

If it makes you feel any better. After playing lights out last night to keep the Vikings in the game, some of the fans are calling on the front office to dump Cousins because of the strip sack that killed the tying drive. So these type of things plague every team.

He sounds like Tom Brady's wife.

I know and again, I agree... Was kind of enjoying not hearing anything get twisted in the locker room and definitely not shooting for a knee jerk reaction here but it'd be nice if people wouldn't sound like Brady's wife sometimes hahahaha

Ben said it himself...he's not forcing the ball to AB84 as much so far this season. I'm glad he's using his other options, take what the defense gives you.

A great athlete pulls off such feats, of throwing one self the ball. Heck I’d did this to myself in the back yard as a kid. I’m even pretty sure I could score on the Steelers secondary, my 10 year old self of course not my 33 year old self, for my own self is at the nfl retirement age

Yeah I started the thread read the whole thing and posted it just as the talking heads and other stories are reporting it. That's my problem, I don't really see much of anything there other than what the media zeroes in on makes an ordeal of and seems to usually spill over to other teammates and gets in Browns head to where we have to hear about him getting ****ty with reporters etc...

Choose your words better... All that needs to be said is its on to AFC north football etc... Don't play their rope a dope game. He's currently something like the 3rd or atleast top 5 most targeted receiver through the first 3 games. He's had drops and wrong routes or been overthrown not to mention double/triple teamed... The latter of which he acknowledged as well as what's important is that we continue to win. What he didn't need to say was the thread title because that is what everyone is running with and he voiced that prior to the winning element of his statement.

I'm pissed because the media makes a big deal and it causes more unneeded **** and this kid has proven he can't handle opinions very well a few times already.

The more teams get burned by juju, McDonald, JJ and co., the more they'll be forced to single cover brown

Goff played with a better Oline and the better defense pass rush, Cousins played well in this game his Oline gave up the strip sack so if their fans want to dump someone they need to look at their oline, and cousins has an 84M 3 year GUARANTEED contract so they arent dumping him anytime for the next 3 years and they are certainly not going to pay him 28M a year to be a backup, I didnt know Vike fans were this stupid....

yep, Rams had 3 receivers with 100 yards on Thursday, no reason we can't do the same or get close to that

You beat me to it! As long as Ben doesn't have too many brain farts, there are many ways for the O to put up lots of points.

And the vikes had two 100 yard receivers thielen 135 and diggs with 123 yards, 5 receivers with 100 yard games tells me the pass coverage on both teams was non existent......

I would just say simply he outplayed cousins. Nether defense played good. Cousins not just last night has always had a tendency to hold on to the ball too long.

On the Rams final touchdown they had Barr covering a slot Receiver in Woods. Geoff looked the safety off and Barr thought he had help over the top. Beauty of a play but very reminiscent of Watt or Dupree dropping into coverage and being the weak link on a faster, quicker player. For all the fireworks there were some nice plays in the secondary too. I was robbed of some big points from Diggs by a heck of a play from Shields going full extension to get his hand infront of a deep ball to Diggs. another beautiful play. If was funny watching the Rams sideline and Geoff wiping his face off with a towel and watching the Vikings answer his score and looking like how many times do I have to kill these guys before we win.

with the rule changes and everything, I couldn't even tell you what constitutes a good pass defense anymore.

HE made a beauty of a play when he felt the pressure closing in from behind him, spun to his left to escape the pressure, sprint left and complete a pass down field. From an offensive viewpoint just a fun game to watch, from a defensive standpoint horrible.
