I only watch NFL Network. But I realize for some that's not an option.

You can always change the channel. Nobody is holding a gun to your head making you watch the 4 Bozo's with the future millionaires show.

I'm with you. They seem to always gloss over what the Steelers do but if the Patsies, Cowgirls or Ratbrds do it, they go on and on about how brilliant try are.

It's an ethnicity issue. Who the Steelers ownership isn't and who 90% of the rest of the nfl ownership is and who the ownership of espn is. Dig into it for yourselves and the light will begin to dawn on you.

Yep, didn't watch 1 second of ESPN (friends don't let friends watch cable, don't re-enact scenes from Platoon with Charlie Sheen, etc., etc.).

For the little that the Steelers did (and usually do), the NFL Network guys actually talked about us a bit, and all said good things.

I've been thru the 'ESPN skipping our picks during commercial, etc.' too many times.

Yeah, it's amazing how little espn does with it's 4 hour long draft coverage
    - talk to the first round pick player or team offical every 15 mins. Check.
    - show and break down the pats draft every half hour. Check
And that truly about all they do.
If you get nfl network I suggest switching to watching on there. They at least show a 20 second clip of everyone that's drafted, now there's a whacky idea. Even woody Paige could come up with the thought that if you have 4-6 hours to cover the draft, you could at least talk 20 secs about every pick.

From what I've seen, though, we're very rarely covered in great detail. Even NFL Network seem to be obsessed with teams that are TRADING and doing EXCITING things.

So don't watch it and find some of his highlights online.

ESPN sucks! Mel Kiper gets on my nerves, how did his assessment ever make him an expert? His assessments are so irrelevant and totally inaccurate most of the time anyways. Besides, he looks like a love child of Joey Buttafuco and something like the father of a vampire from that movie Twilight.

Rumor has it that Kiper was ticked off when someone told him about this thread as he was rising from his kneeling position in front of Bellechick.

Here' what I noticed about ESPN's coverage that's intersting: I remember seeing and hearing some "reservations" about Donta Hightower and his attitude/work ethic. I think some mentioned this in threads prior to the draft. But now that the Patriots took him, well, I never hear any of the criticisms anymore.

When the Steelers drafted Ta'amu ESPN did no highlights or critique of the pick just said his name, at least on NFL Network they showed the highlights and talked about him. When the Patriots or Cowboys make a pick they drool all over them.

I'm not sure the NFL network knows the draft is still on. They are using this time as a darn commercial for their show tonight. Rather than talk about picks, they are talking about Tebow or Peyton. Here's a thought, how about talking about the draft. Oh, and when they do talk about the draft, they were just talking about Luck. Can't they wait until the draft is over to go back to talking about how he fits in with Indy?
