I Can't Really Complain.

I can't really complain. I picked them to go 10-7, and win one playoff game.
I would be a hypocrite if I was pissed that they did what I thought they would do.
So I really wonder at the people that thought they would lose more games being so upset. It would be like being mad You made more money doing something, You thought You were going to make less at.
Yes I don't like losing, but we are exactly what I thought they would be. We have only one real CB, He didn't play today, and for some odd reason, most don't want to draft another in the 1st round.
They just want to complain when they can't cover.
We are a DL, and CB away from being a great D.
Again it's hard to be mad at what I thought exactly would happen.

 

I get it. I'm upset,,but I'm not pissed at them doing exactly what I thought they would do, and I truly find it fascinating that the people that picked them to do the worst, are the most upset.

Tomlin is and has been the issue, change has been needed, but Art is clueless n too gutless to move on

 

I had them going 8-9 or 9-8 as I didnt have much confidence in the Smith Offense this year given one true starting WR and trying to compete with a potent KC and Buffalo team in the conference.

My point is I thought next year would have been a playoff team.

Fast forward and watched them start to congeal on both sides of the ball and beat the Ravens.

So maybe it was all smoke and mirrors and Baltimore just had a bad game but I got spoiled during that period.

Having said all of this I can never walk away from the team Win/Lose/Tie Steelers for Life. Ha

Well since we've beaten Baltimore 8 , out of the last 10 games , or so....I wouldn't say the Baltimore game was smoke , and mirrors...,,but maybe them beating us was.
I still believe if We had everyone playing we beat Baltimore again

I picked 10-7 and playoff loss. I'm with you on these past few games. It's how they lost. They were totally outclassed 3 games in a row. I was hoping for some sort of growth with the players that Omar has drafted and truly hasn't seen any growth. If there aren't significant changes I see another 9-8/10-7 season next year with little to look forward to in 2026. Something has to break with this organization, for better or worse.

 

I know two things that would help. Get another real CB, Don't have 5 different D starters, and Your only real Wrs be hurt in the last 3 games, and don't play 3 games without a bye in 11 days.

first game - it was more the Ravens lost then us winning. they dropped so many balls that game. The Ravens also blew the games against the Chiefs and Eagles - both of them smoked us.

Getting another CB definitely would help. They also need a S and more help on the DL. Heyward isn't getting younger. I'd draft BPA of one of those 3 positions but we need even more help on offense, specifically QB, and help at OL and WR. This roster is so far away from playing meaningful playoff football beyond the 1st round.

I could type out a long winded response, but the answer is:
Some people are just miserable negative people.
You could give these type of people a stack of $50 bills and they’d complain about the way they are folded.

8 out of the last 10 - who cares about 2,3,4,5 years ago? makes zero difference today. heck we going back to when Ben was still around.
