I don't know... Browns' players can buy Super Bowl tickets if they want. Doesn't bother me one bit.

All of the rest of my family are Browns fans and I grew up near Cleveland. I've been a Steelers fan since I knew what football was, and my wife and kids are all hardcore Steelers fans, but my grandfather was a huge Browns fan, and so are my dad and brother. I don't ever see a scenario where the Browns will be in the SB, so I wouldn't have to decide to root for them or not, but if they did make it, I would probably root for them just a little because I know it would be cool for my dad and brother.

I don't dislike any team more than the Patriots, that being said I would like to see them go 0-16 :lolol:. As far as the Stains, Bengays, and the Ratturds, since they are in our division I want them to EVERY game also. If I'm watching any other team play I can stay neutral. I lived in the burg for 42 years so I CAN'T ROOT for any other team:thumbs_up:

I could root for the Browns. Cleveland has there share of A-hole fans, but every fan base does. That city has suffered and it was complete BS that the team got stolen from them. I could root for Cincy as well. The teams I cannot root for are the Patriots, Cowboys, or Ravens in that order. But I don't feel the same type of angst towards the current Cowboys as say the teams in the 90's - I actually think Romo is a pretty good guy and a good QB.

And by the way - I know everyone is slobbering over the Cubs, but I have a hard time rooting for a team that took out Pirates SS on a dirty play which dramatically affected their offense down the stretch - especially McCutcheon who was probably on pace for close to 110 RBIs and then got nothing to hit the last 3 weeks. And then Madden (who I used to like) has the gall to call the Pirates bush league for throwing at Arrietta who is painting the edge of the plate left and right and then basically one just gets away from twice against the Pirate hitters. Cuck the Fubs...go Mets. The team to root for now is the Kansas City Royals - that is a city in need of a championship - Chicago has seen 3 Stanley Cups and the Bulls winning 6 times in the 90's.

Sooo... Is there anyone on this board, BESIDES bft, that would root for the Pats???:roflmao::shrug::eek:..

Anyhow, NO, I could never root for the Clowns,
    but,
I will echo the feelings of a previous poster, who said they have family and friends from around here, who would be happy with the Clowns winning...

And would be happy for them...
    C`mon Man...

We know it will never happen,

But... If hell froze over, and they did, there really isn`t much more of a deserving fanbase out there..

They have stuck with that "factory of sadness", thru SOOOOO much crap...

I would be happy for their fans...

Right after I died from the heart attack from them winning the Superbowl!:eek::th jawdrop2:

    GO STEELERS!!!:herewego!:

Agree with you on the dirty play of the Cubs. I would be happy for BFT and Hotness if they win it all, but I would hate to see a team be rewarded for dirty play.

I think it would depend on their team at the time.

I remember supporting the Bengals back in SB23, because a) I was younger and had less embedded bitterness against rivals and b) I liked their team that year.

I think I liked the AFC Central far better than the AFC North, though.

    I'd never support the Ravens.

Nah, I wouldn't cheer for the Browns. I've attended many steeler games in Cleveland.. And every time I'm there, the fans always tell me that you would think the Browns would hate the ravens the most since that was their team and they won superbowls.. Etc.. But they don't, they're hatred for the steelers out weighs the Ravens by a lot.. Well that's what I was told by the fans I've spoken to.. But I also like the "curses" and whatever else goes on with a team.. Such as the Cubs Billy goat curse and when the Red Sox had the curse of the bambino. I just like how those teams always lost in dramatic fashion..
