How would you feel if the Steelers were as good as & similar to the Chiefs?

Watching a preseason game this year and the announcers said if Mahomes plays as many years as TB12, he has 17 years left to go in his career. Now that is a depressing thought.

 

I don't think Mahomes is going to play as long as Brady...Brady is an exception, not the norm to play that long and be dominant for that long at the QB position

For the question, I'm sure that those who were alive during the 1970s and were fans of the steelers, loved that decade....For me I loved the period from 2001-2010 of the steelers(even if they were not as good that the current chiefs team) so of course it would be incredible if we would be as good as the chiefs are in the Mahomes era right now.

He plays a different style running alot more I doubt he lasts that long.

 

Just can't see Mahomes lasting even close to that other guy. AFC has to many damn good QB's. I am hoping for short careers for all of them.

 

I am an old-school kinda guy. Play football, stay off social media and limit drama. Show up for practice and game days. Play your heart, get paid well and stay out of the news. The rest is just unnecessary noise.

 

I'm from there too and they are far from an afterthought. They are third behind Eagles and Phillies, but everyone I know gets into the Sixers since they've had Embiid.

Also, I'm not buying where boxing is on that list. I know like one person who can name me more than 3 boxers right now.

 

There's a certain group of Eagles fans that idolize Jason, and he can do no wrong. That group is mostly racist white guys in their 20's and 30's.

I know tons of Philly people but it's rare for me to come across a real Sixer fan. Actually most I know don't care for the NBA. I have a lot of Flyer fans around me and the joy Sidney brought me when Pens were on top all those seasons. They HATED Sid.

BTW, I'm not from Philly but live in what is jokingly called a suburb of Philly in NJ. A lot retire here.

I hate Mahomes and the Chiefs so to answer your question I would not care to have him as a Steeler. His production yes but not him the person.
