To break this down a little more, Clemson starters basically played one half during their ACC schedule. Dont think that would happen in SEC play. BTW, Clemson is a bad word around these parts, lol

Sorry I didn't rank them.
If I was ranking....I surely wouldn't start my Razorbacks at 54 like we are ranked. LoL

I think you’re still on an adrenaline high from that close win over superpower Old Dominion.

Going to be a very long season as a Gamecock fan! Nothing new though.

I know one HC in the SEC that won't have a job after this year, and maybe before. They(LSU)won't put up with losing two game opener back to back. I got a hundred on this.

This season didn't turn out so bad. Beamer did a nice job.

Oh by the way. Clemson was 0-2 vs the SEC this year. So maybe this answer the thread question.

Yet they will probably get in the final 12 before the teams that beat them

Maybe READ what I said, which was NOT saying that Clemson would be great THIS season. I know you read, so why not give it a shot?

You wrote this in Sept, but Lavar Arrington spoke recently on his program just how ridicules and hard the the entire coaching situation has become. A coach recruits and has a 3 day signing period in Dec (this early date means the student if available can sign into uni early and begin his career). If he gets fired the entire group can opt out, the players on the team can as well (not normal transfer portal). Bottom line a new coach starts with potentially nothing, now NIL and transfer portal can help fill the gap, but the amount of time these guys spend on recruiting, coddling to rich donors, reviewing transfer portal and recruiting them, trying to fit everything through all the rules and regulations.

It is a daunting task, and fans constantly screaming for a better guy. Franklin at PSU is a good coach, not great, but what he established after the scandal a decade ago has been admirable. It was stated that had the 12 team play off been around all the time he had been there they would have been in 6 out of 10 years. Imagine being in the hunt, winning record, getting the school back into national prominence and fans still screaming for your head, lol. I get it, but damn being regular top 10 is not bad, so getting rid of a coach does and will happen, but better make sure the next one up is better than what you have.
