    Oops is right.

Granted, Ronald Darby is not a bad replacement though. Even so, having three solid corners beats out having two of them. If the likes of Denver and Minnesota have not shown this, Pittsburgh definitely should given its trio is starting to peak at the right time; Gay's age being a non factor.

My personal hope is that Senquez can actually take the field in 2017 for the likes of Burns, Cockrell and Golson can truly become special in due time.

Not trying to be argumentative, but why do you think he can be special, other than his high draft spot? He was unwanted by a team that's 0-12 and hasn't seen the field for the Steelers. If he were to be special, I would think it would have shown by now and forced his way into games on Sunday.

Cockrell seems to be a whipping post for a lot of fans. Some think that he is bad.
I think he does a decent job, I don't think the guy will be ever be a Richard Sherman or Patrick Peterson.

But, I think he does an adequate job, and you can't tell me any different that our secondary isn't improved over what we witnessed in the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

I like the guy, he's a very heady player and will only continue to improve. Liked him coming out of Duke in the draft that year too. He had an INT in the college all star game to seal the deal IIRC. Glad Rex made that mistake...

Cockrell is solid, like a watered version of willie gay lol. He is usually in place or near the player, doesnt get burnt like blake. No all star though, but no one in our secondary really is... YET.

Cockrell is solid. He's also what the secondary needs, right now. Given time, I believe he will season into nice cover corner who will snag some INTs.

I agree that Cockrell has turned into a solid corner. True shutdown man corners are not easy to find, and they cost an absolute mint after their rookie contracts. Cockrell isn't a shutdown corner, but he's an adequate starter who can effectively play all of the various coverage techniques. He was a find.

This guy can play and we had plan to pick him in the draft. The brownies will/would ruin anyone's career. That's why they pick in the 5-10 every year. For Tomlin to be a former db coach...he sure don't know talent or how to develop talent. Stop talking the players to death and train them. This goes for lake as well

Well Mr. Cockrell... when you play against your old team...then you have to go out and show them, that they lost out and your new team hit the jack pot. Looking for a breakout game from Cockrell 2 picks!!!:herewego!:

He did. He painted a masterpiece of shadowing opposing receivers last year and this year thus far akin to what you would see in the Mona Lisa painting.

No. None of us are. The issue with Gilbert is that, should he see playing time, either Artie or Ross is injured or the game is out of reach.

I also would like to see how well Justin has grown. However, as it stands currently, Burns, Cockrell and Gay are the big three. Not a good idea to experiment with rotation when you are pushing for the playoffs.

I think maybe Gilbert doesn't like to play pro ball, a lot more than playing on sunday goes with the territory.

Gilbert has all the traits to be a great CB. I just think he got here too late for this season. He just needs an offseason here to learn and then a chance to show his stuff in Latrobe.

He looked good against KC, but I think his responsibilities were very limited. It looked to me like they basically just said, "cover Kelce wherever he lines up".
