They have 9 games allowing 20 or less and so do the steelers. I am gonna go the opposite way and say one great game against us doesnt makke them dominate.

I will still take the steelers offense

Yeah, I know. I was thinking more generally as a thought experiment. As in, what if the Steelers were without all those key guys for the entire year.

Anyway, I still think they will win on Sunday.

I'm ok with Bell sitting,I think we have enough to win without him. I disagree with Ben sitting,he should get at least a half. Not only to give us the best chance to win but like some others have alluded to,to remain sharp. It's a long time off and we are bound to come out rusty in 3 weeks. Tomlins head will be on a platter if the Jets pull the upset and we lose. With that being said,if Landry can't beat the Browns why the **** is he here?

Looks like this foolishness is a done deal. Roethlisberger and Bell sat out practice today.

No way I would play Roethlisberger and not Bell. That puts a huge target on Roethlisberger's back, especially with the garbage they are trotting out there at running back in Bell's place.

We have to remember, many quarterbacks have their best game of the year against us. Some have bad games to. Who knows what D shows up for us?

Kizer was 22/30 on us in the first game.

Then we have this scenario-If Brady gets injured playing the Jets and we face them again and beat a Brady less team well have an asterisk.

Tomlin chose not to do that. Check out that inactive list. Some of y'all got what you wanted. I just hope we aren't calling for Tomlin's head later today or in two weeks, because it's pure luck if he gets away with this mistake.

Yah, and I will sit in my house after the Steelers win Super Bowl 52 and cry myself to sleep in that asterisk.

There is no such thing as a dominate defense in the NFL any more. Their are no dominate defenses and their hasnt been any for a long time since the owners and that **** face Goodell destroyed defenses in the NFL.

The only reason the Seahawks were "great" in 2013 was because they hit the lottery with Russell Wilson and had the luxury of paying a Super Bowl QB 400K a year for 4 years while they stacked the defense for a nice run which helped them keep everyone fresh and rotational all game long. Once the big time players started taking the big money, then Wilson got his big money, the depth went away and they were back to the same defenses like everyone else in the league.
