Based only on this years play I would so he does get respect but undeservedly so. His play has really taken a nose dive this year. I think father time has caught up with him and he has lost a step and father time is NEVER wrong

IMO, he is the poster boy for this team's identity the past few seasons - inconsistency. He gets a beautifully played pick-6 on one play and then a few plays later is completely out of position and gives up a ton of yards.

Not sure what the problem is with both sides of the ball, but we're never going to go that far if we don't figure it out. Here's hoping that we're on an up-slope with our recent performances.

yes CK I think he would do much better at SS. it will all change when troy is gone. we will be going back to a more conventional D-backfield then. the shark can't seem to stay healthy either. I think cortez facing the offense will have a better chance of playing up to what we thought of him from the back end. my trouble is in next years draft corners are not near as good as last years draft. getting a good starter out of the draft may be a lot more difficult. I expect we may see a FA pickup.
