   I like that better than going the other direction like the NBA does in allowing players to be drafted only 1 year out of high school. I am probably a bit biased on that as a UCONN alum and fan since we have lost a true freshman to the draft 2 years running, and it’s likely to happen again this year.
   
   I’m not all that down on the 4-5 years in college thing, though I do think that the transfer portal rules are just ridiculous.

   They didn't hide in college, but they forced those crappy teams to trade their rights.

   Part of the reason those old players got an extra year because of Covid, but this is then last year of that rule.
