JackAttack made an interesting post that made me think

Some members/posters have had a season ticket for a long time

    Mac for example I believe

If you have a season ticket or previously had one how many seasons have you/did you have one

If you still have a season ticket count this year to keep apples to apples

I have a buddy that lives here in St. Louis that has been buying up PSL’s and season tickets. He’s up to 26 now.

Sometimes it kills me some of the opinions about certain aspects of the Steelers that some people here have while never attending a game in person.

I certainly get it..the closest I ever came was a gf who had tickets and took her BFF forever. She took great picks of Mark Malone and his killer 'stache..then ended.up dumping me and living as a couple with her BFF. Considering it was a Malone lead team and the after outcome..I did not miss much. Lol

I wish i could attend half the games. But i average about 1 game every few years to see them play. This year they'll play in Atlanta. But i really can't stand their fans. They're not horrible fans, they're just ignorant and excuses to everything.

So i might go see them play jags and dolphins.

It kills me more when i see people ghost the team after they lose a superbowl. I watched Atlanta fans do it to the falcons losing. Literally maybe 20 people showed up at the training facility congratulating then on their return saying good job to at least getting nfc championship.

I don't think so. Last I heard she was a religious hermit and the other owned half a ghost town lol. But hey..if both are steeler fans that's all that matters. Malone was so cute she said sheesh..red flag right there.lol.

I've only been to one game, when I was 5. Week 17 of 1982 season. Jack Ham's final game in Pittsburgh.

The only thing I really remember is the crowd going NUTS on a Brown's 3rd down attempt. The stands were bouncing up and down what must have been a foot. McDonald had to call T.O.

Obviously I go to the games

    I watch them intently

    I record them

Then I get on this board and people just regurgitate what the announcers said right or wrong

And no matter how wrong the announcers were it becomes fact

Then the radio etc people state it as facts

    Then idiots believe it

I hate idiots dumbshits morons and just people who can’t think for themselves

    Analysts as they call themselves

This is an an interesting though but at this tim the stadium is 20 years into its life span

    Three Rivers lasted 30

Do you want to buy a 10 year investment

You know I asked him that. He is making a decent amount on ticket resales so I guess it’s worth it. He told me as a general rule that he could pay for the cost of the PSL in about two years from the profits. He’s constantly buying and selling PSL’s also.

So a person can only have an opinion about the steelers if they are lifelong season ticket holders? OK got it, hall monitor. Thank goodness you are here to police all of our idiotic opinions.

I think the point is or at least mine is that if an announcer makes a mistake or a radio guy spouts his bias then people drink the kool add and take it as gospel truth rather than looking for themselves

I realize not everyone can go to the games but there is so much lost on tv as compared to being there

I really think He meant about some that will comment, and never even watched the game in any capacity, only saw the highlights, and listened 2 what the talking heads say about the game later that night, or the next day.
    Just how I took it.
