I was fortunate to see some of the posts that slipped through the cracks. Posts complaining about the board neglect, and suggesting to "try out this other board that was set up by some fans".

Even between the two boards, it'll take an effort for someone to leave as many posts as BFT did before he left. Miss seeing him around!

 

I was on that board also, but I can't remember My username from then. Then one day I was like I'm done with the internet. LoL....For about 9 years. I just got back on right before I started on this board.

Having the most posts on a board is like ridding the short bus to school. Not exactly something you should brag about because it basically means you are a loser.

Hmm. Funny how the "official" board was allowed to collapse. I never used it.

Basically, I used to use Yahoo message boards for posting on all topics starting in the late 90`s , then Yahoo self-destructed their message boards one by one over the years. Just post here now for Steelers stuff.

I got booted off Steelers Nation message board. My politics didn't align with their views. Glad the moderation on this board keeps politics at a minimum.

 

There was also the Steelers chat room on the old board. Back when chat rooms were the future. It didn’t last very long.

 

I’ve done this before. I seem to think the first ever thread was something about sidelines and had around four posts.
