Hardly any of the QBs from Bradshaw to Ben were drafted by the Steelers except Stewart, Tommy Maddox was selling insurance somewhere. Most were FAs they picked up. Then they got smart and drafted one.

Not a bust a Athlete in the wrong position, we need world class speed with the ability to tackle in the open field with the occasional high point the ball and fight for it...We ran a busted scheme and still continue to..My guy greater than Edmunds as a single high no doubt about it and heck he was already on the Team so clown away I be here all day..If the lord willing that is..

We have an excellent single high safety. Our coaching staff has decided to use him in different roles instead.

I’d be surprised if he ends up with the steelers but all this positive talk about Pittsburgh and Tomlin from Rodgers is a bit weird to say the least.

Funny that the Ravens and Eagles got rid of the guy after they won it. Not sure about TB.

I for one would not want him here. I want a youngster to take over.

I say do both. Get Rodgers... and draft a QB in the 1st round if a good one is available and worthy.

Isn’t that why Rodgers is pissed off at the Packers? I say if you spring for the veteran QB, you use your high picks to build around him with players that you expect to contribute ASAP

The team also has to consider the intangibles associated with signing Rodgers. We’ve never had any luck with free agent signing and that may be because we are not willing to spend much on FAs. When the Bucs signed Brady, he had guys like Fournette, Brown and Gronk lining up to play with him for peanuts. That’s because they want a ring. I have no doubt that Rodgers, and now I’m hearing Wilson, will have the same impact

He is young ,African American, learning his trade in the pros not some college guru . Is an offensive mind , played the game recently . Other players always talk great about him . Has been learning from Arians and Brady and a dash of Tomlin and Ben. Spent some time in the Steelers uni. What`s not to like ?

Never mind the fact that if they were to trade for Rodgers they likely won’t have a first round pick to use

He will be the new head coach of the Jaguars at the end of the year. Book it.

Was Leftwich considered a good OC when he had Jameis Winston at QB, instead of Tom Brady?

I’m not sure a near 40 year old QB will require a 1st, not even for Rodgers. I’d take him on the team in a heartbeat but not at the cost of a first rd pick.

I'm not impressed by Winston numbers, he also threw 30 ints and 6 pick sixes.

Not really. Just saying Jeeps get redesigned more often than the Steelers, and one really needs it and the other doesn't. Love the Rubicon Gladiator, a real throwback, but pricey. Also loved my Grand Cherokee Laredo from the late 90s . I'm now strictly a Tacoma guy ready to get my 4th but the 2021s are picked over and they're telling me it'll be 5-8 months to order a 2022 due to manufacturer and parts delays.

exactly - could be 10 years......the NFL is a QB driven league, led primarily by stud QB's. We could be entering the dark ages. Add the dolt Rooney and TOMBERT, and, yeah , maybe 10+ years......

some people can't handle the Truth (see: A Few Good Men.....LOL)
piss poor planning and no OL plan for years. yes, it caught up. And correct - we lucked into that BUFF win by dropped passes and a blocked punt.
