How bad is this?

Sorry if this is a repeat topic. Just wondering your thought on this. For those in the Wallace camp, this cannot help at all.

What can't it help? It doesn't sound like team are beating down Wallace's door and it the more teams that spend big money on other players, the less they have to spend on someone else like Wallace.

 

Yeah that's true Scott, but on the other hand isn't it also possible that Wallace and-or his agent might see that and use it as precedent?

 

ScottChab, even if Wallace signs his one year tender, SYP is right, he'll use this as precedent next year. Especially if he has a monster year like players often do in contract years. We might be looking at two of these scenarios playing out next year, A. Brown anyone? Just saying.

If Wallace has another good year, no doubt he'll use this as ammo but there isn't anything that can be done about it so no sense in worrying about it.

 

We can't do ANYTHING to change the course of events pertaining to the Steelers but that doesn't mean they aren't worth talking about. This is a message board after all, right?

 

If the second half of 2011 is any indication, a monster year seems unlikely.
