I went back and watched a bunch of Ben’s throws before the Dallas game and after. I’m now a believer in the rumored knee issue. His delivery now looks to be more arm, less lower body. He really doesn’t seem to plant firmly and use his legs to power through the throws and follow through. Earlier in the season he did that. I am hopeful that he can recover by the playoffs.

Every time I see a correction on here I think my wife has become a member. I've lived with her corrections for 38 years and my reply is always, "you know what I mean".

I was watching for something similar, I wanted to see how he acted under pressure and I didn't see him shy away from congestion or go down per-maturely?

I am growing fearful that we are about to witness the Tomlin curse again. This is the last hoorah for Ben and we have a lot of talent but we have an OC who is a detriment to the team.....but Tomlin loves him!:beg:

Roethlisberger on report knee giving him trouble: "I don't know where it came from … I would love to know where that came from."

"Other than having an old knee and arthritis, my knee feels really good…That report, to me, is one of those phony things people want to make up."

This so nice and generous of Ben and the offense to suck so bad that it allows Jason LaConfora to have an article on CBS sports.com tis the season.

Ben Roethlisberger: "I'll never just hang it up in the middle of a season, obviously. This team is special, the season is not over. I want everyone to take a deep breath ... we've got time."

I was almost hoping Bens knee was hurt because otherwise what is the excuse for this disgusting offense?

well in my opinion in regards to the running game it’s pretty simple. With the short passing game that we are using the opposing defense is stacking the box and the line of scrimmage which in turn makes it easy to also stop the run. So until we start working some 15 to 20 yards passing plays not much is going to change.

Saw an article in which Ben says his knee's are just fine and the rumors are bogus. Sorry. I think it was in BTSC site.

Agreed and our OLine is getting no push in the run game. And now they are injured. We could get right against the Bengals but I just don’t see this offense turning it on vs real competition at this point.

No you are right that’s why I was saying almost wish he was hurt because maybe a couple weeks off could heal him up. Now it seems we are just screwed.

We are definitely not getting the push that we are accustomed to, but in my opinion it’s not as bad as it seems. I still believe it has more to do with the defense crowding the line of scrimmage against us.

Y'all actually believe him? Go back and watch the games. Look at how he is moving. Look at his throws.

Ben's knee has only been listed on the injury report a couple times this season, and we all know the injury report don't lie.

I also think he said something to the effect that what he has are just "chronic" issues. What the hell does that mean? Arthritis and aged related pains? I've had 3 ops on my right knee for meniscus reasons and it still bothers me like a mother. Maybe he is getting a needle treatment before the game because that is what I'd be asking for. I think this is all about him being in conservation mode for another year of millions. Lets see what he can do against a 2 win team. This board will explode if we lose Monday.

Yeah I was just jumping on the joke bandwagon but I don't think Clive appreciated me ruining his joke.

Actually I knew you were joking with him. I was just jumping on the bandwagon. I didn't mean to ruin your jab at him.

We know that Ben’s knee was injured during the Dallas game, and it was just a couple of weeks ago that Ben’s knee was listed on the injury report. What I see when comparing pre-Dallas games with post-Dallas games looks like a change in how steps into throws. He sure as hell doesn’t look like the same guy to me right now. I hope it’s not the elbow.

I was sorry to see you didn't try to defend your title in the Steeler Prediction Poll this season.

Remember what belichek did after being disciplined for not reporting injuries correctly? He started listing every bump and bruise on the injury reports. Player x contusion, player y scratch, player z ...
