I think your #3 is asking too much. Dallas is a long way from a SB IMO.

    #1 and #2, hell yeah!

Not me. That's not a bad deal for one of the top Centers in the game.

I like this Idea. I am not so sure of our secondary this year?

    Neil O didn't throw a single pick-six in XXX.

I don't know that I'd single out Ward, Harrison or Polamalu for XLV. Those guys were all shades of their former selves for that game. That was the first game I recall seeing that Troy had lost a step.

That game didn't bother me as much because it was a terrible matchup for us. I thought we were going to get blown off a fast track in Dallas (and we nearly did).

I suffered more emotionally in the '94 season's AFCCG loss at home to San Diego than I did probably any other game in team history. We were a much better team, it'd been 15 years since our last Super Bowl, it was at home, it was snowing that weekend, everything was set up perfectly . . . ugh. Think I'm gonna punch another hole in the wall.

Having been lucky enough to see my team win 2 SB's, I wouldn't be itchin for a #7... except for the fact that Ben's legacy would be magnified with a few more SB's.

If Ben could win one or two more he would definitely be placed in an even more rare air.

Lets clarify pouncey as a part time center, thats a lot of money to pay him for what he does, he may last 5 games this year to earn his 10 million$ and then a 2mill$ backup center will replace him once again.........

Badly. Want to extend the lead to two or three again if at all possible. This is going to be a fun couple of years. Need to stay healthy. Want to see this 3-5 year window produce at least two more Lombardi's in Pittsburgh. I believe if we were even remotely healthy last year we could be talking about winning #8 this year.

Just need to keep Burfict away from our players in the 2nd match up... :)

All I know is we better win 1 more at least with Ben at the helm, because once he leaves it might be a long drought before we win again. Cowboys pose a threat to tying us with that crazy O line.

I think this current juggernaut offense has a good 2-4 year window. That said, t's not unfathomable to suggest we could still win with a late 30s aged Ben if we can put together another stellar defense, as in years past.

People act like Pouncey is Woodley and pulling hammies.

He also has 4 seasons where he has played nearly ever game, 16, 16, 15 and 14.

    Glad we have him.

Agree. If a guy's not in shape and is causing self inflicted injuries that's one thing. Pouncey had someone roll up on the back of his legs and he's injury prone?

I will take Pouncey any day of the week and I am glad we have him. IF this line can stay healthy this year it could be the best o-line in football. Then add in our playmakers and Ben with time I am not sure how teams will stop us. More likely, we stop ourselves in the red zone etc. with mistakes, penalties etc.

This is lining up to be a heck of a year and if the team can stay healthy there is a very realistic chance #7 will bring us #7...

But but Cowboys have the best o line in the world... that can't be possible lol. It's the same every year, stay healthy and we win # 7. Just too hard to fill in the gaps when people go down sometimes. Lady luck be with us

we all want one or more with ben still here but we have different parts and everyone is a year older with new ailments from last season and before, so nothing is for sure. health is a major issue and youth is an issue. most think we will be better on offense and better on defense, but that is yet to be seen. it is a work in progress. we can't assume it will be like last year on offense just yet.

I believe you almost pulled off a Led Zeppelin and stole someone else's music: "I love you more today ..than yesterday.....but not as much as...tomorrow.....". Be careful Dar is all I can offer in the way of free legal advice. :guitarplayer:

The main reason we can't let the Cowgrills ever play in a SB again - especially if it happens to be at Cowgrills Stadium is that the Steelers still hold the distinctive all time highest SB attendance record from the Jan 1980 SB vs the Lambs at the Rose Bowl with 103,985 at that game. Steelers/Pack came close at #4 at Cowgrills Stadium in Feb 2011 with 103,219 which means that Dallas is the only stadium that can hold that many drunks since the LA Coliseum and Rose Bowl are out of the running with the new LA stadium in the works.

I'm sorry but the only people that came up short in those games were our QB's.
