Free agent… a cheap 1 yr deal? Thoughts?

 

I would sign Hunter Biden, anyone to get Van Jefferson out of the lineup.

 

He wouldn’t pass drug test… sounded good tho

 

At least they would get kick backs from Ukraine.

 

His position would be the tackling dummy

 

we have a bunch of small guys. how about a guy with some size

 

Brady had the 7 dwarfs… how did that work out?

 

Do you really think Brady would come back to play against Rodgers?

George Pickens - 363 Yds Rec 0 TD.
The next WR up - Calvin Austin, 167 Yds Rec and 1 TD.

Our WR's have produced 1 TD.
I would trade every WR we have after Austin for 1 good one.

 

Van Jefferson who has started every game this season has a grand total of 8 receptions for 62 yards and of course no TDs.

 

If Renfrow was any good still he wouldn't be out of the league, they already have Austin and Roman to play the slot WR position.

 

We need a starting caliber guy, I don't think grabbing PS dudes or guys that aren't on teams is going to move the needle. Hopkins or Kirk would both be welcome additions, we can use Austin and Wilson as the alternating 3rd WR, and bury Jefferson at the bottom of the depth chart. The fact that we have NOBODY at the WR position aside from Pickens is killing this offense. You can blame the QB for our lack of high end passing attack, but the fact of the matter is that we are too easy to shut down schematically. Spend all the effort making sure Pickens is dealt with and Muth is taken account for.... then that's it. You've stopped our passing attack. We're seeing Patrick Mahomes struggle for the same reason. He has 0 proven WR's now that Rice is hurt and he has a passer rating lower than Fields because of it. He's also only accounted for 6 TD's and has been responsible for 6 turnovers. The weapons have to help the QB out, no matter how good that QB is.

 

It could be hyped as a pay for view event.

And on this team we have Aaron Rodgers, an aging QB out to prove that he can switch teams and win a Superbowl! He got his coach fired. He got his old Packers teammates brought to his new team. He is the shadow government of the Jets! He has started just 7 games with the Jets out of 22 and has chalked up a not so impressive 3 wins, although one of those wins really belongs to Zach Wilson. But he has a chip on his shoulder and is out to prove he is the goat (at least in his mind).

While he will be facing, for one game only, Tom Brady! The man who did switch teams and win a Superbowl! He is coming back for one night only to show Aaron Rodgers why he will never be the goat. There can be only one goat and it is Tom Brady!

 

Now go look at how many times they 1. Haven't been looked at, 2. Been over thrown, under thrown, or thrown behind, and 3. When the ball hits their hand....they are as surprised as I am. LoL.....hell probably as surprised as Fields is.

 

I still think Michael Thomas is the best free agent out there, and I am shocked that the Chiefs have not picked him up.

Now I think it is going to be Mike Williams on Monday. If you see Williams inactive Sunday night against the Steelers, bet the house that Mike Williams is coming to Pittsburgh.

 

Thomas has been washed for years and he's always injured .

Why would we pickup Renfrow that s identical to what we already have.

what is wrong with our WR,s can't get open--- sometimes can't catch--- can't get RAC yards enough-- Pickens is a joke--- now it's probably becoming a stat or something NOT too many TD by WR.I don't even know if getting a great WR would help ---Something is wrong with our WR.is it coaching ----scheme what is it, it's not right
