Tomlin was a part of the reason he left too. He always wanted to play for the hometown team but him and Tomlin had a bad relationship as well.

Personal credible source. He went to high school with Kennan Lewis and Mike Wallace. He went to a wedding and told me way before it happened that they were both leaving so I trust him. I asked him about Lewis and that's what he said. Obviously Wallace wanted the most money.

If true it wouldn't be unlike the current Boykin situation. Boykin is the Steelers best corner and there is no way he stays with the Steelers after being benched for Blake all year.

Boykin was severely overlooked (allegedly punished for complaining about playing time in week 1) despite the Steelers being near dead last in passing.

Boykin looks like a bargain to other teams now. He would have been better off getting more playing time with the Eagles and padding stats in a contract year. Tomlin cost Boykin millions.

Here's my parallel universe take: This Steelers team is absolutely horrid and well below average at its best. However, due to all around exceptional coaching and players playing completely over their heads for 9 games this season - they are still in the playoff race, albeit with only a dim chance remaining. I say we all rally around the intelligence and over-achievement that has allowed the Steelers to still be relevant going into the seasons finale with such a lineup of complete losers.

Now hopefully I can find my way back through the worm hole. :drinks::drinks::drinks:

If you people believe that Mike Tomlin does not have a say in who the Steelers draft,
    you are sadly mistaken.
