We have had other players that have died that they never honored before, and they actually played.
I didn't say anything about politics...unlike a lot of You I don't pay attention 2 politics....I find them stupid on all sides, and they actually do what they want no matter what You care about.

 

If I wanted 2 ...I bet I could find multiple comments of You telling what You think they should do. Geez people(not You)..You act like someone said they shouldn't do it. So far I haven't read one person say that...
It's funny how one certain thing can be discussed, and certain people (again not You)become High ,and Mighty.

I first read this thread with only 2 posts in it. Was going to comment on how it was going to turn into a sh!tshow but I didn't. How prophetic that would have been.
This board will never cease to amaze me.....

 

I was surprised by it because of some of the revelations made after the fact which last I heard or cared to read hadn't been confirmed and I didn't think the Rooney's would potentially paint themselves into a corner if details came to light that it wasn't only a tragic accident. But again they are the type of good people where after a tragedy they would celebrate a person's life and not their demons.

 

Every team has had players that died...thats life. But this is honoring a teammate that was on the active roster at the time of his death. Other teams have done the same thing when an active member has died.

 

I’m sure many of us (all of us) have made poor decisions in the past especially in our teens and early 20s. Even if he was partying and being irresponsible he certainly didn’t deserve that fate.

 

I haven't been around for years, but I am shocked, shocked that cajun turned out to be a broken, radicalized person. I always had him pegged as a very stable genius.

 

I personally don't believe there is anything political about it. I see it for what it is. A tribute to a teammate and friend that died tragically.
