    possible ? of course
    probable" of course NOT
could it happen? of coure... it could snow in july too but it wont
you need to add a fourth question.. WILL IT HAPPEN... NO a snowballs chance in hell .. team has no heart .. and they simply are not good and a poorly coached team .
Thoughts ... ther is one playoff spot left.. denver/KC have one for sure... that leaves one.. there are about 8 teams ahead of us and probably all of them are better and have better coaching than we do ... i put our chances at under 5%

I'm always expecting a win and surprised when it doesn't happen, so I say yeah, we can run the table.

Make it as 4 seed, beat the weak WC team, beat KC at home and face the Pats in the AFCCG. Dang, Pats win and win the SB since it's will be played in the cold outdoors...forget that...we make it...lose early...Go Denver!!!

a lot of people are getting excited thinking this team is back.

they beat a bad Bills team led by a rookie qb that played his 1st game after returning from an injury.

the defense played well, but again it was against a rookie qb just back from an injury. not all that impressive.

the offense still struggled. Haley has no imagination and why did they not run any no huddle?

lets see them against the Lions this sunday. if they can shut down their offense than maybe the defense has figured it out. i cant imagine them holding them to less that 28 points. the offense will have to out score them which i dont think they can unless Haley has another play book that he hast used.

perspective. this is a 3-6 team that not only has lost to some bad teams, but they are one of those bad teams.

Sure they could make the playoffs, but who could they beat in the playoffs? Denver, New England, Indianapolis, Kansas City, and ???

??? could be the bungholes, rats, chargers, or jets. Likely if the Steelers are a division winner, than neither bungholes or rats are a wildcard. Which means as the 4th seed they will draw the 5th seed which will be either Denver or Kansas City. Best chances are KC, but that would put them in Denver or New England the next week.

Of course, we would all feel differently about our team if they were to win 7 straight to become 3rd or 4th seed. It's just highly improbable. Highly improbable.

Yes, this is all based on if they are playing good football, which to make the playoffs they will be doing. They can't limp into the playoffs because if they are still limping they won't make the playoffs.

I was thinking the rams went 7-9 and played the seahawks. LOL. Or was it the seahawks that did it the year they beat the Saints?

Matt Hasselback and Marshawn Lynch lead the Seahawks to a 41-36 win.

Yeah that run was probably about the greatest run I've ever seen. I liked Garrison Hearst's run from a long time ago when he carried the whole defense pretty much. But when Lynch threw that stiff arm I came off the couch! I've heard that there was actual seismic activity detected in the Seattle area because the crowd went so crazy for that play! THAT'S epic!

Have you seen the NFL films of John Mackey running? There's a great one where he runs over Dick LeBeau (IIFC) not to mention on of his own guys that happened to get in his way.

I've never seen that of Mackey. I know he was a bruiser though. I saw something once that said there was a play where Larry Csonka was getting tackled and HE got called for unnecessary roughness! MAN I'd like to have a back like that. I could accept those kinds of penalties because you wouldn't get many before people realized it's best to just NOT tackle you. Deion Calls them "business decisions". LOL!

I love the optimism from you guys but I really think we will end up 3-4 or 4-3 over the next 7 weeks. We are not a consistently good football team and we have a terrible red zone percentage. Good teams score TD's when they get in the red zone. If it happens I will happily eat crow!!

Beat Detroit and maybe just maybe those Black and Gold glasses get put back on... :)

That was the worst division in the NFL that year, the AFC North isn't close to being that bad, I think 10-6 will win this division this year, but for the steelers to go 10-6, they have to win their next 7 games in a row, that has to start Sunday against a hot lions team, which isn't an easy task, is it possible, yes, is it probable, no, but Sunday will determine their fate of going 10-6....

Honestly? NO. But that doesn't mean I won't root for them with every fiber in my body to win the reminder of their games to make the playoffs.

they have put themselves in a position where they have to pretty much win out. 10-6 gives them a shot.

i just dont know if this team has an 8 game win streak in them.

the offense is not very good and the defense although good sunday hasnt been very good.

so unless they "unleash hell" over the next 7 weeks i just dont think they can dig themselves out of the hole they dug.
