Absolutely right. The 3 SB's we have gone to in the Brady era we did not have to play them to get there. I will not read to much into the regular season game we will be playing against them but am sure the NFL talking heads will.

Being 8-2 means we lead our division by 4 games, beating the putzies in December is just another game on the regular season schedule, if we meet them in the playoffs then it will become an important game to win, but right now it's just not that important to sit around and try to turn a regular season game into a playoff game, we need to stay focused on the next opponent on the list week by week, they are not any more important than our next game....

Well they are defending SB champs and beat us to get there, and they have owned us. I feel like there is a lot of talk here about them cause many feel like this is the year we thump them. I know I feel that our defense can get to Brady and not only beat him in the first game but also the 2nd time we play them...in the playoffs. Right now until proven otherwise isn't the bar in the AFC...heck the NFL the Cheats? Beside this is a message board isn't that what you do on a message board?

 

That is the definition of how the Steelers lost in the AFCCG last year. It was an absolute garbage game plan and if repeated will be another total failure.

 

I haven't watched that since the day it was played but they were showing clips during a round table on NFL network yesterday and I got so mad again. One showed a 20 plus yard TD throw by Brady to the middle of the endzone right in front of the goalpost. What ticks me off is that as he throws several Steelers appear to turn and run towards the right corner of the field where there isn't even a Patriot in sight. What the heck were they doing?

 

I haven't watch it since half way through the fourth quarter when I had to completely walk away or else destroy something. It was the best opportunity personnel wise to beat Marsha and Belicheat in Foxboro and they simply went about the business of treating the game like we were going up against a 2-6 Jets team.

I have to stop now. My blood is beginning to boil again.

 

We owe them a beat down big time. I don`t see any other major threat, just a couple minor threats, so yeah, Steeler fans are obsessed with getting over that hump.

If we beat them, we may never see them in the playoffs if seeding is Pitt, KC, NE. Good chance they eventually lose in KC.

 

That game in week 15 will determine home field. So, yes, it is a playoff like game. Unless the pats **** the bed or the steelers do, that game will more than likley have both teams with the same record.

 

It's not obsession. Steelers have to beat the Patriots to get to the Super Bowl. They are 0-3 in the last 16 years in that department.

When its 3rd and 7... Brady looks for Amendola or Edelman short on an 8 yard cross. Back in 2008 Welker was the target.. Clark ended his route and the Steelers whooped up a big win.. they pressed the line and took the Welker play out. Of course we got a 15 yard penalty, but we played to win.
