There's been a lot of hitting so far in training camp, which is a little unusual. Tomlin has mentioned there's been a lot more restrictions on them so they have to get in real work when they can.

I've seen a mostly positive reaction from the media. My question is what do you all think?

If someone hits Le'Veon Bell and blows out his knee, then what? Just curious if everyone sees this as good or bad. I'm on the fence.

I think it's a great thing. You often hear people using the CBA as an excuse for lack of preparation and success for some teams, but there are 32 teams affected by it, and a few teams continually seem intense and methodical. It starts in camp, and I think teams need to do all they can to get young players ready to win and prepared for the speed and grind of the NFL.

I also think the coaching staff is walking the right side of the line when it comes to protecting guys from preventable injuries.

My bad. Honestly don't check many of the posts in here during downtime like this.

I see that this is in another thread but since it is started I'll say my piece here. This is the way that camp should be run. An injury is an injury. Those can happen playing hopscotch. You have to get used to the bumps and bruises and teach your body to get used to the contact. Some of these guys spend so much time worry about not being injured that they forget to play the game.
