A few weeks ago Mark Madden posted a poll on twitter on who you would rather have, Hines in his prime, or AB. Some may think that AB is the obvious answer, but it's hard to deny Wards toughness and love for the game, always playing at 100%. He is also a lock in the HoF. Ward fits the blue collared-ness of the Steel city and AB is arguably the best WR in the league right now, so take your pick and let me know what yinz think!

The poll ended up- Hines Ward in prime- 57% AB now-43%

Hines Ward is one of my very favorite Steelers of all time. His toughness was probably his best attribute. Not to mention he nearly always came through in clutch situations. However- AB is simply to good. His route running skills & impeccable hands will always make him my number one choice.

Hines ward is one of my favorite steelers of all-time and if I had to pick an all world team I would probably put him as my 5th receiver. I am not saying that he is the 5th best receiver of all-time but if you put him with rice, moss, and a couple of all-time greats he would compliment them and bring something that they do not have. He has done more with 4.6 speed than anybody in the history of the game. That all being said hines ward has never been double teamed once in his life. Santonio holmes was, plex was, and hell even mike wallace was. Antonio Brown gets double teamed every week with help over the top.

There is no comparison. Brown gives defensive coordinators nightmares. Hines never did.

I'd take Hines at this point. Get back to me when AB's career is over and I may feel different. That's no disrespect to AB.

Ward better suited the Steelers style of offense at the time he played as does Brown better suit the current Steelers offense, so it really depends on what offense they will play in. Thats why I hate these type of questions.

I love hines. I got to meet him when at Georgia. he is class. he done it the right way. he gave all he had for his team.

the thing I think people miss is that brown is the same way. I remember hines and his salary dispute. I thought it would tarnish his legacy but it didn't. same with brown. he handled it the best way it could be

I think brown doesn't get the credit he deserves on the field for the little things he does. he isn't ask to do it as much as hines but he blocks very well for a wr. he wouldnt deliver the knockout blow hines would but I believe as a true wr brown is better.

good thing here is, there isn't a wrong answer. both will be in the hall.

With Ward on the field today, I would be more confident about punching the ravens in the mouth.

I have to go with Hines, as he was the one who set the example to brown before passing the torch...... and his blocking totally sets him apart

Indeed. Antonio Brown's story has yet to reach its epilouge. When it does, I too will have my answer.

I love Hines, but on his best day he could not break open a game like AB can.

    lol
The answer is AB, and it should be unanimous.

I love Hines, but he's not even on the same planet as AB in terms of talent

Ps, while I'd vote for him, Hines is nowhere near a lock for the hall of fame.

    What's the gauge? Peoples emotions?

Oh, it's just some stupid Madden intangible set up? Hines "wanted to win more". What a bunch of Mularkey....
