    I think that a tandem of Herbig/Sawyer can make Highsmith expendable, but I think that Highsmith is still better than that tandem. With the way this defense has been evolving the past 4-5 years, Sawyer is probably the best option of the two.

    Trading Highsmith for Draft Assets now means going back in 2026 to get another. That isn't a good usage of resources at present. The only way that Highsmith does become expendable is if both Herbig grows such to a point where he simply cannot be kept off the field in addition to Sawyer becoming a starting capable EDGE who is a rotational piece just for his Rookie Season. Should those cases happen, then and only then will it make some form of sense to entertain the idea of trading for Highsmith if Highsmith's performance falls off considerably in addition to the aforementioned hypotheticals.


    As of now?! No reason to.
