Hey what do you think of Heywards performance? We finally saw him get some significant snaps.

I thought he played pretty well!!!!

I was hoping I wasnt the only one that noticed this. He was getting some push and making some tackles/etc...very solid night for him.

While I hate Ziggy got injured I like seeing young guys like this getting snaps. He should be rotating in a lot more for Keisel and even Ziggy at times. While Ziggy may not be the type of DE fans are used to seeing...he isnt terrible...but I think the potential future of the young guys on the DL could be promising...Heyward McLendon/Ta'amu Hood...not to shabby as of now.

He had a good game. I noticed a few good plays tonight, and a couple solid bull rushes.

I posted about Heyward a couple times in the game day thread. On a couple plays he nearly drove the guard right back into Flacco.

I was also impressed with Heyward and thought some of the success they were seeing from Harrison and Woodley was because they were having trouble going man on man versus Heyward and Da Beard. In my opinion he was doing better in run support than Hood does but then again I don't think that highly of Hood to begin with so there is no where to go but up in that regard

Heyward is an angry man...he plays mad....I like that...but he can be a loose cannon.....if he can lasso that in..he could be the fire the defense has been needed....just like Colon when he manages to play between the whistles with his anger showing.

I also noticed Heyward on a few plays tonight too. I thought he looked sorta fiery. Not that that's a bad thing though.

I notice it as well. We were finally getting some push up the middle and Heyward delivered. I know it's one game but I think she should start over Hood.

    Bump.

I think one of the bright spots of the game was again the play of Heyward. I hope he gets more playing time. I also think Woirlds does better as Woodley's back up. Some solid defensive play out there today
