Just read that Cam is going to start over Ziggy this week.

 

Maybe this will be his breakout year

 

and that's end the story of ziggy the bust ...

So Hood is gone next year and Johnson is a free agent, that means all of the 08 and 09 drafts would be gone.

 

I like Cam... Loved his daddy as a player. Give him the snaps, we'll find out what we got soon enough.

Cam has always had that potential...he's shown it a number of times during limited playing time in previous years and really seems to be doing solid this year. I do not hate on Ziggy as a lot do...has he been a superstar...no...has he been terrible...no. Not all DT to DE conversions work out well...especially when the DT is more of a havoc reeking DT and not one that just takes up blockers/etc. I think he can still contribute and such...and should easily be re-sign for cheap.

Anyways...back to Cam...can't wait to see him get more playing time, i think he will take advantage of the opportunity given to him....even though they will still rotate Ziggy in.

Good move! Thing I like about is the fact CH seems to be making more of a push when he is in. Also, one stat nit mentioned he has 2 pass knock downs and the rest of the team has 0

 

Haha my point was all this has already been made official...some of it days ago. We've been talking throughout this thread about Cam and Adams over the last week (esp since the trade). Not like this Smizik is breaking some news or anything, haha.

Exactly. Especially for a team that builds exclusively through the draft.

 

Can't hurt and get any worse, lets see what he can do. Although I think we should be doing more with personnel, bring back the old punter, replace Wimper with somebody that can play, get Moye some playing time, especially in the red zone, get rid of a tight end and get another tackle beside Levi, because we sure can't draft any tackles.
