Can't blame leadership when players sometimes go astray. Yes that happened on every team in the league. Players are individuals. Sometimes that individuality comes out regardless of the leadership present.

I would understand you stance on the lack of leadership being a "big problem" on the team if you were in the locker room or around the team. You were not so.... This team never completely fell of the rails regardless of what happened. That speaks to leadership.

My perception is that this team had leadership over the years. The had enough leadership to win 11 straight games last season. They had enough leadership to almost over come the loss of Ben in 2019 to remain relevant and in the hunt for the playoffs. They failed to win a championship for reasons outside of the leadership that was present.

Completely understand where they are coming from and hope they hammer it out before August. My folks, older brother and younger brother all have gotten vaccinated but when I visited I still wore my mask and tried to keep a good distance because the strain I had was just horrible and I would have felt terrible if anyone got it from me.

I am hearing/watching a lot of people talking this being a way for the NFLA and Veteran players to hold on to their jobs, by not allowing he younger/cheaper players to use the facilities and coaching staff to develop in the offseason.

This year with the cap being lowered, you would have a lot of teams looking to save money with a cheaper option on a 2nd of 3rd year player.

Said it before, Say it again...This Steeler outfit with Popcorn at the helm, leading the band of misfits toys...Is/has been...a blueprint for failure...

To Buddy Buddy, Nicey Nice, and most importantly...Not near smart enough or good enough to bring another Crown home with this fraud running the team...

I hope our young players are not buying into what the old players are trying to sell.

I still say players are safer at the Steelers training facilities than at their local 24HR-Fitness or Planet-Fitness.

I hope Highsmith, Pierre, Dotson, Claypool, and Spillane are there every morning trying to kick down the door to get in and start developing into the Starters they need to be. And, I would also says that Haskins and Mason had better be there as well!
