Wonder who the first idiot will be to turn this into an anti Tomlin post? I have a good guess.

Not only does his track record validate how good Tomlin is... but every single thing that ever comes out from "behind the wall"... confirms it as well.

Mine, as well. It truly is an awesome story and a well written article.

It's stories like these that confirm why these guys are Steelers for life.

Alright, Band of Brothers... Git 'er done! :towel:

This article just further validates Tomlin's lack of clock management. He called Cam while the JETS were on the clock. Old habits die hard. Sigh..... LOL! Seriously awesome article really though. I love Cam big time and I generally can't stand Ohio State players.

You actually read the article, right? I mean it's very favorable to Tomlin. Are you sure you didn't click a link to a Colin Cowherd article instead? Just joking. LOL!

Awesome article and I think this team will win it all this year. This team has the chemistry to do it and I personally hope they have to go thru NE to take care of unfinished business and then redeem themselves (albeit organization wise, not actual players), for the SB XXX loss.

    Who Ride?

    :herewego!:

Big fan of this site. Love reading these.

My favorite one was the J.J. Watt one. How often does a transcendent talent question himself; doubt crippling even the best of us regardless of social status being a constant reminder.

    Indeed. I enjoyed this one.

Second only to the J.J. Watt one.:thumbs up:

man, that was said as well as I have ever heard anyone say it. we hear about and have had former players speak to it. that was impressive. did he major in journalism or something?lol I have liked him as a player. I just got a glimpse into who he is as a man. what a teammate.

Reading this article makes me feel bad for Bryant in that because of the enforced exile from the team he is missing the fellowship of his teammates and they can't help him deal with his addictions. I hope that once the suspension is lifted that he reaches out to these guys and they show him that the team really cares about him.

Don't mean to sound harsh and I hear what you're saying, but Bryant's exile is his own stupid fault. The idiot could be here helping the team make another Super Bowl run but he'd rather get high. I hope he gets his head screwed on straight before next season

Superb Article! Cam is a pro's pro. Great player, great leader.

As for Tomlin, what more can you say? Do we win 7 straight without his calm leadership? Doubtful.

All very true Jack and the only person who can make him change is himself. Obviously he has to deal with the consequences of his actions but I have never been a big proponent of the cut off all contact method of therapy. Especially for younger people. There should be support for them, just my opinion on therapy be it for addiction or illness or mental health, you need that support system in place.

That speaks a lot about the transition between the Cowher's guys and Tomlin's guys, a difference only haters see (particularly, the ones that say that Tomlin could only win with Cowher's players).

You're right, thorn, he certainly shouldn't be abandoned. From a human compassion standpoint he needs a helping hand. The Steelers sent him to a rehab facility in Texas last year and that seemed to help for awhile. But he decided at some point that wacky weed was more important and relapsed. I don't know if he's hanging with the wrong crowd or what, but whatever it is I hope he's able to get himself straightened out. His mix of size and speed is Moss-like and it'd be good to welcome him back into the fold.

DWill was talking about that. Says the system is totally flawed and that exiling a player is the worst thing you can do. I agree with him.

Pretty stupid whoever came up with that punishment. Not letting him play should be more than enough.
