I'm not even sure what to say about what I watched other than we have been spoiled. Teams like the Browns and Jags have to suffer through this for many seasons, but it is definitely painful.

We can nit-pick everything and proclaim why the team isn't performing, but there is one point that I keep drawing back on...

...why is this team so cap strapped? Whether we are or not, we are playing like one of the worst teams in the league, and we don't have ANY money to make improvements in the offseason.

Blow this thing up and start over. We MAY actually be a better team in the process. The Colts literally blew up their team, got a new coaching staff, and went from 2-14 to playoffs the next season. The Dolphins are turning it around. It can be done. There is no need to keep lingering in the past..the game is to win, and they aren't, and especially don't look like they will.

    Blow it up.

We're cap-strapped because we have a lot of players nearing the end of their contracts, which are always going to be large.

We're also cap-strapped because the FO has always traditionally prized consistency across the board rather than overpaying one player at the expense of others.

For me, this is a transition team. The young players are being moved in, and those in the twilight of their careers are slowly being edged out. That's always going to be painful, but it also doesn't rule out some successes along the way.

    Not this week, of course.

The really sad part is the Special Teams played better than the offense and defense.
