Bo was the only athlete ever to be the MVP in the Pro Bowl and the MLB All Star game.

You're clueless as usual, I don't think Tomlin is as good of a coach as Cowher. Yeah get back to me when Vrabel has won 6 division titles and 2 AFCCG, and the media was saying he will be a HOF candidate this weekend, if he stays on the same career winning percentage .

    Hey FootballAnalyst98.

As you stated, it was all about finding a quality QB. I have explained this before here. Let me try again for those not paying attention. The Ben and Cowher Timeline below.
    • Year#1: Steelers go 15-1.
    • Year#2: Steelers win Super Bowl XL.
    • Year#3: Ben has a near-death motorcycle accident in the off season and has an emergency appendectomy before the season begins.
I am pretty sure these medical events took a significant toll on Ben's body and mind. Now, for the regular guy, those two medical events would have been bad enough. What rationale thinking person cannot see this. Now, compound this with the fact that Ben comes back to play a game where 300-pound men are chasing him around and trying to pummel him into the ground.

Ben, being the competitor that he is comes back anyway. The season starts of rocky at 2-6. However, we finish the second half of the season with a respectable 6-2 record. Very respectable. However, too little too late as we did not get to the playoffs and a chance to defend our championship.

I am still amazed that Ben even played that season after what he went through! If you look at the timing of all of this, it was probably not until the second half of the season that Ben started to feel some sense of "normalcy" again.... whatever normalcy may be for what he went/was going through; especially given his profession. What sane rationale person does not get this? I am so sick of people pointing to that third year where I have outlined it again right above. Come on now some of you. This so obvious as to what happened!

But other coaches have won Super Bowls without great QBs, Joe Gibbs won 3 Super Bowls with 3 different QBs none of them in the Hall Of Fame. These guys aren't franchise QBs, but they won a Super Bowl:
    Trent Dilfer
    Jeff Hostetler
    Nick Foles
    Brad Johnson

Let me get this straight. The Steelers sucked this season and we are making fun of a team that got to the post season . . . makes perfect sense.

You may be right, but I don't follow that logic. How could Cowher have just opened the door if Tomlin is thought of much more highly? Tomlin would have to be considered a lock.

Is that the .500 winning percentage? And forgive me for being so wrong as "the media", apparently ALL media, has said Tomlin would be a HOF candidate. I certainly can't compete with "the media." I stand corrected.

I like Bill more than Tomlin but facts cannot be denied.

Tomlin has a higher winning percentage. .642 vs .623
Tomlin has not had a losing season while Bill has had 3
Both went to 2 superbowls and won 1.
Bill has won 11 playoff games vs mike's 7

Bill has his fair of choking with 4 conference losses.
Both had better winning percentages than Noll though and to say they are better is just stupid lol

    Glad we understand.

Now, with that being said, how many times has John Harbaugh won the division compared to Mike Tomlin?!

Did you really make the playoffs if you got the 1 seed and get smacked at home? They have as many playoffs win as us this year and we got better draft position.

No, I didn’t mean Tomlin is thought of much more highly than Cowher, I meant Tomlin is thought of more highly in generally outside of Pittsburgh.

Analysts and other fans don’t agree with Steelers fans.

For a guy who’s supposed to be boycotting you sure pay a lot of attention to other teams.
The “Fake Boycott is in full effect.

I never said I was boycotting this year. Incompetent GM decisions is why we didn't make the playoffs not the refs/league.

If you checked their records they're similar, and yes the media knows more than you . Actually his winning percentage is around .640, Cowher was around .620

Don't care enough to hazard a guess. Not comparing the two of them. Why would I?

And we aren't in agreement on priorities, THAT I do understand.

    Umm.....

You stated here that Tomlin has not fared well. Within the same token, you do not care to hazard a guess as to why he has not?! Very interesting comment.

    Again...
