There are so many potentially funny scenarios there.

32 pages of advice on destroying incriminating video footage and one page of strip club recommendations.

33 pages of Hernandez politely blowing off Belichick's repeated and somewhat creepy attempts to hang out together.

33 pages of texts that prove that Bill Belichick is actually the Kingpin and Hernandez is his henchman.

I like this one because we know that Hernandez is a made man. The family will take care of him, Don Billo takes care of his boys.

But the "Don", is not the one in court, on these counts...
    and Goodell ain`t the judge...
Belli may be called to testify, but he will protect himself, his team, and the league, before his former player.
"The Family" counts on their lackeys, to not rat out the higher ups, and do their time...;-)
As funny as the previous posts have been,
I`m caught in a rare state of confusion, in the debate about protecting privacy, and using common sense, to convict
    fairly obviously guilty criminals.
This may be against board guidelines regarding political debate, so I will keep it short and sweet, and if it`s against policy, I`m sorry.
Won`t say anything else about it.
I find it disturbing that the judge allowed his cell phone records(text, specifically), and private home surveillance video(inside his own house), to be used against him.
As far as I read(and there may have been more involved, than I read), the police did not obtain a specific search warrant for his phone.
If they found the texts as a result of their investigation, stored on a "server", that`s different.
    Still scary.
Let that be a lesson to the younginz out there...
If you do illegal sh*t.... DON`T TEXT ABOUT IT!!!
Also, I am a little troubled, that they can use video taken INSIDE HIS HOUSE, from his own security cam, against him.
I believe he is guilty, and should be brought to justice, however, I am not too happy about some of the seeming rights to privacy, that this judge has seemed to overlook.
I guess it gives his lawyers grounds to appeal, while the taxpayers continue to feed and house him.
    Rant over.
    Not trying to get political.
Just seems at least one protection that the Supreme Court, recently upheld(specifically, cops need more to search your smart phone, than just you having it on you when you are pulled over), has been violated here, with the judge`s permission.
I also am not sure if they got the texts directly from his phone, or if they got them from records stored by his phone company, so, I guess it`s a moot point.
They could always search the phone company`s records.
Not sure about the rules, regarding interior videos, recorded by your security system.
Again, I hope he is convicted, it just seems to me, they could do that, without these pieces of evidence.
    I dunno.
I always assume I am on camera when I am in public. Keeps me out of trouble...;)
Scary to think the system has access to any texts you send, tho... Be careful what you text!:hmmm:
    GO STEELERS!:yeehaw::flag:

Topic seems fine to me. I was just making jokes about Belichick, because, well...it's fun to make jokes about Belichick. :D

As far as the texts go, I don't know if they recovered them from his phone, or if they subpoenaed them from the carrier. I'm pretty sure they got them from his phone, though. I do know that the texts you delete from your phone aren't completely deleted. So with the right software, they could be retrieved even though you deleted them.

With his phone, I believe I read that they used probable cause to collect the evidence from his phone from a broader search warrant. I get that it can be a slippery slope, but I'd hate to see a guy who committed cold blooded murder(s) potentially walk from a technicality.

To quote Elliot Spitzer: "Never write when you can talk. Never talk when you can nod. And never put anything in an e-mail."

Along the lines of what you're saying, I always love the stories about criminals getting caught due to a facebook posting they made or something similar. There was one not that long ago where the guy updated his facebook status from the victim's computer in the house he was robbing. :lolol:

Another thing that I found somewhat interesting was the part where the Patriots were trying to block the court from having access to some pages of his psych evaluation and scouting report.
