I believe you overlooked the "Death Star fires errant shot and obliterates Bengal Nation, all teams move one slot forward" scenario.

The Bills winning against the Jets are slim and none. They deserve to be in the Playoffs.

I bleed, but this loss today was deep. The way the clowns played today you have confidence that they will win with that S^&* today? Pitiful!

Did anybody see anything today to make them believe we will beat the stains next week? I sure didn't. The defense will make Johnny look like Joe Montana.

This, I don't see other teams loosing just so we can get in.

What do you and others mean by the statement "we don't deserve to be in the playoffs"? If we secure one of the six playoff spots then we deserve to be in, no?

I think when you lay an egg against inferior competition, a mark of Tomlin's coaching tenure, you deserve what you get. Sitting at home with the pretenders while the contenders are playing meaningful January games.

I get that, but are you saying that just because we lost today we shouldn't be in the playoffs even if we qualify for the playoffs?

one game plan for next week would be to stop the clock as often as possible
let the jets game get way ahead in time and then we can decide to go for it or not in the 2nd half
how many player injury timeouts do we get a game?

But they're the same ones who wrote off the season back in week 5. You've just gotta ignore the Chicken Little fans around here

If we qualify, we belong. We lost our best opportunity to qualify by losing today and ceding control to someone else. I'm convinced if we made it we'd be one and done anyway.

How can you say this. The Bills beat the Jets earlier this year and now they are home and Rex Ryan would love to keep his former team out of the playoffs. The Jets are the better team, but this is an emotional game for the Bills. Now the Steelers beating the Browns ... Who knows?

Well I have my frayed dental floss to hang on to so let the chips fall where they may. Better contain Johnny Football he took it to the Chiefs.

Then maybe, just maybe the foot sucker will drive his team to a win.

I believe they will beat the clowns.

Still, one of the worst losses I have seen...and is why they will miss the post season...

After yesterday.. the Steelers would be one and done again, even if they beat the Browns and somehow the Jets lose to the Bills (which I think is highly unlikely). I agree with those who say the Steelers don't deserve the playoffs. This is what separates the Patriots from the Steelers, year in and year out. When the Patriots lose.. they only lose to teams with winning records. The Steelers have proven over the past few years that they can lose to anybody.

This may be a playoff picture, but the quality sure has dropped since yesterday.

It was wide screen hidefinition and now it's black and white on a round tube.

Heck yeah, playoffs! I hope we get in because I really don't want to root for a Houston/Washington Super Bowl.

If we don't get there, I wouldn't mind seeing AZ kick Brady's azz in the SB. I've always liked Carson Palmer.

I'd be totally cool with a Cardinals victory. Probably the only "good" team that I wouldn't mind winning.

I care Lady Steel but I am still pissed off
Tomlin and Cowher were/are both bad at making sure the team is ready to play sub par teams. I bet if you go back to 1993 and compare the record against good teams and bad teams. we did worse against bad teams. I think Cowhers last year we lost to Oak, CLE and the sisters of the poor back to back to back
