I am not sure they underachieved. They had a bunch of lucky wins early in the season. Any of those early games go the other way, we would have been out of things weeks ago. Gotta look at not only the bad losses, but the lucky wins.

He didn't run the remaining part of the game. The very next game....He was hurt against the Browns....same exact ankle, and leg. I said then How didn't the Ravens get in trouble for not reporting the injury. I brought it up on the board that year, but most acted like they didn't see it.

I don't remember writing that Trubisky would be good, but if you can find the quote, sure. I think what I wrote was that I didn't hate taking a risk of Trubisky. I thought he would be better than Rudolph, which was mostly about how low an opinion I had of Rudolph. Rudolph got better, but we'll see how much once he faces a defense that doesn't suck.

Just an opinion but I think there was a lot of back stabbing and media fueled BS going on with the Steelers. Once they started playing together good things happened.

Now there is no way of knowing but I'm not so sure we'd be in this position to make Playoffs if Pickett had played those last 2 games???????????????

 

Maybe we (don't) need a scrambling run for your life Qb--Maybe we need a quick draw QB who is accurate and can make quick decisions and throw that ball really fast.
