Steelers clearly not ready for this game. D is way different than last week and also if Ben keeps getting hit, he will be out well before the end of the season.

Losing 5 starters has a tendency of doing that

I wonder what the Vegas odds jumped to when the inactives were announced and if they closed the betting down when Watt was hurt

Ben looks like he doesn't trust this line. He doesn't look terrible, but he doesn't look great ... just really uneven overall from him.

I hate to say it, but this offense is looking like last years offense.

It is all about intensity and passion, and I find them both lacking with most teams.
    Steelers included.

QB's don't retire because they lose some arm strength,
they retire when they can't protect themselves. As you will see this play out
this season. Our OL will get better, they really need to be able to run the ball though, this will help Ben.

This offense does look a lot like last years. No running game, and opposition stacks the box having no respect for the long ball. Ben can't get the ball out front of Claypool. They can't get much at all out of the TE's because they need them to help the OL. Okorafor is a human pylon, no wonder he is not on the blind side.
The entire secondary was close to terrible. Way too many missed tackles.
It's not all negative Heyward is a total beast, but he can't do it all by himself.

Yeah I agree, Ben got hit 10 times today, I'm surprised he didn't already get knocked out.

The sooner Ben leaves the faster Canada can get our QB under center and start running his offense.

Watching Ben in the shotgun every single play is right where we left off last year!!

Ghe Steelers have three issues. 1. The O-line is making good players average. 2. Ben is an average QB at this point. He cannot sustain drives to keep the defense fresh. 3. The defense has no depth. What we saw in the second half was the pre-season defense versus Carolina. It is what it is because of the salary cap issues the team had before the season. To a lesser extent Tomlin lived in his fears when he decided to punt on the fourth and one in the fourth quarter. Couldn't he tell the defense wasn't going to stop the Raiders?

i lived the 19080s misery after I got to see the glory days and it was brutal . Got food thrown at me during many road games for steelers at browns when they crushed us. Bubby brister era is here fans. Deal with it. Total rebuils. Tomlin vvaunted no losing seasons is toast after this year

Seriously when is the last time we beat the Raiders? This team has consistently beaten us.

    1. Pats
    2. Raiders
    3. Jags

These teams have given Ben & company fits through the years.

Steelers should’ve spent all the picks on O line. Not exaggerating lol

Im trying to think but yeah...it appears that they struggle against those 3 over the last 20 years. I wonder if the W/L stats truly reflect that.

Everyone has said everything I wanted to say. But I would add, I haven't seen any improvement from last year. Even a small sample size of if this offense can better.

Yep, Tomlin now 2-5 against the raiders all time. 3 of the losses to them at home. He was favored in all the losses.

Are we going to lose to every team in the AFC West again this year?

We just played their worst team at home and lost again. It is only going to get tougher against the West from here.

You live 17,059 years into the future? Is there still life on earth or did global warming finally happen after spending bazillions of gazillions of dollars trying to prevent it?

Is Tomlin still coaching the Steelers? Has he had losing season yet?

Won 12 Superbowls with Dobbs playing QB. Unfortunately Marsha has 16,011 trophies.

By record How are they the worst AFC west team?. I believe they have beaten the 2 best AFCN teams, and are the only undefeated team in their division

Not going by 2021 record as I think KC finishes on top and not Vegas/Denver.

I have the West as :
    1) KC
    2) Den
    3) LA
    4) Vegas

I still think right now we get swept again this year by the AFC West.
