How many would like to see Wallace traded the the Lions for Suh? I think it is a win win for both teams as the Steelers have good recievers all around but unfortunatly the D-line isn't very good and they need a replacement for Ziggy Hood. Imagine the Lions with Wallace and Megatron Johnson...More importantly, imagine the Steelers with Suh on the D-line, no more of the QB getting 30 seconds to decide who to throw the ball to. I think this is the exact kind of trad the Steelers need to make as I believe the team has enough good recieving talent to overcome the loss of Wallace while it will help the defense to be able to pressure the QB and stop the run again. I don't know how the rest of you feel but watching the Steelers unable to stop teams from running was really hard to deal with, I mean I don't like how teams have been able to throw on us with ease either but there is nothing like watching multiple RBs run for over 100 and to see 149 against a team who only one season ago gave up an average of 69 yards a game, it hurts. So, is this a trade that you think would be good or is there a better trade you'd like to see, what are your thoughts?

Great trade for us but not in a million years would Detroit make that trade.

I don't like it. I stated in another post I think it is time to sacrifice the Defense to improve the offensive line. We've been a top 5 defense for years. I'm willing to let that slip to the middle of the pack while improving the offense to a top 5 and see where that gets us.

No no no. First of all Ziggy doesnt need replaced, there is nothing wrong with him. His contract is too big. It just would never happen in 1000000 years. Suh is much more valuable than a WR.

If you're going to trade Wallace, you need to get a stud offensive lineman, preferably a left tackle.

The Lions would never trade Suh, especially for an inconsistent WR. They already have Calvin, plus they just drafted Titus Young, and they have Nate Burleson. This trade doesn't even make sense for the Lions. They likely have absolutely no interest in Wallace, even if they could get him for dirt cheap. Not to mention that Suh is a tackle in a 4-3, not a 3-4.

Teams don't trade stud offensive lineman for Mike Wallace type WR's either. Stud tackles go very early in the draft, a WR like Mike Wallace doesn't. A lot of teams have one trick pony WR's already.

Not saying you'd get it, Im just playing along with the theme of the thread. In reality player for player trades are almost non existent anymore.

The only times you see trade with players in the NFL is if:

A.) The player is unhappy and wants off of a certain team.

B.) The team in unhappy with a player and wants them off their team and thinks they can get something out of him with out straight realasing him.

Other than that these dream trades only happen in Madden, and don't happen in the real NFL.

I think Rodge might wet his pants if he had to call JH and Suh into his office at the same time.

I personally would give up Mike Wallace for Assante Samuel. We NEED corner play DESPERATELY! I don't think Philly is gonna keep all those guys but maybe he needs more money. But who knows. Maybe everyone on here will think I'm crazy for wanting Assante anyway. In all honesty, I would like to see us keep Mike Wallace and develop him in to a more well rounded receiver. I'm just saying I would sacrifice him for a good corner.

I would make this trade in a heartbeat, Only after interviewing SUH
to see if he has his head on straight. Does he want to be a team player?
Can he buy into the Steeler system?

I am not sure you can just trade a player entering resticted free agency. Why would a team do that? If they want him, they can offer him a big contract and then they give up a #1 pick to the Steelrs. That would be better than giving up an overall #1 pick type of player.

Any trade that gets Ziggy off our DL line, or preferably off our team, is a good trade. He's dead wood. :noose:

No way Detroit gives up Suh for Wallace (or virtually any other players). Of course Steelers would accept a trade of Wallace for Mike Pouncey, but it would never happen. They should, however, look at what they would need to do to get Mike Pouncey.
