Joining the ranks from rural northern Minnesota. Originally from Pittsburgh, lived through the Dynasty of the 70's and the tough times that came after. Spent 11 years in hostel territory, Cheeseland that is and been in Minne for 6+ years. Still bleed black and gold. Never warmed up to the Packers but enjoy Vikings football.

 

Welcome to the board. Don't be discouraged if the board seems a little slow right now. It's always less active during off season. It'll pick up some more around the draft, and then get really active again closer to the start of preseason.

Typical off season, no biggie.

Quite the opposite, I quite enjoyed Favre's first season in Purple. Round 2, eh.

Still a Steelers First, that loss across the Pond last season I could have done without.

Not sure why I caught on with the Vikings, I never liked them before living here. Must be something in the water.

Its the infectious way the fans don't seem to care if they win or lose as long as they have a good time at the game. Took my Dad to his first game in 2005 at the Dome and even though the Steelers won and we were decked out in our Steelers gear the fans were about the happiest people in the world. You have to love that about the state.

 

I do believe you have a point. TRF? You're further North than I am. I'm in Sebeka, down 71 yonder. I get up to Bemidji fairly often but never been to the Falls.
