Hello from Alberta Canada!!

Hello from Canada, just joined this site and was hoping for some help. Some friends and myself are steelers fans but have not seen a game live. We are looking to change that. We are hovering around our forties and recently were evacuated from our city due to a massive wildfire. This event kind of opened our eyes and made us realize that we NEED to get to a steelers game now while we have our health. So I'm looking for any info about best seating, hotels, things to do and any other tips or info that any of you seasoned fans and regular game attendees can offer. We are looking at the Oct 23 Steelers/Patriots game. Looking forward to a great experience and to meet some awesome fans. Thanks in advance!!

Welcome Alberta. I took the trans Canadian railroad from Montreal to Vancouver, and the section through Alberta was beautiful. I particularly enjoyed some time in Jasper. Unintentionally I hung out with a bear for a while. Didn't even know I was walking along next to him on the tracks until I saw a lot of people waving at me. By that time I had already walked past him so I left him alone and kept strolling.
