Yeah let's judge this team one Bens first game back. You could tell he wasn't feeling it until about 10 minutes to go in the fourth and should have scored 21 in that 10 minutes.

Oh, I have judged it... against the Eagles, the Dolphins, Cheatriots, and now the Ravens.

The talent is there, unprepared and poor coaching.

    then he should allow

    OUR GREAT BACKUP to play

If Ben lobbied to play and is not 100% ready
to play all aspects demanded of him
he should sit his ass down

Browns will get their first win vs. the Steelers. I don't see the Steelers winning another game until maybe Thanksgiving vs. the Colts.

Agree. We will look like world beaters against them and then flat line against the Browns.

Nope. I called it after the Eagles game. This team is mediocre... overrated and won't sniff the playoffs. 9-7 ceiling, 6-10 floor. I predicted 4-3 at the bye... I was right. Predicted 4-5 after Cowboys game... I WILL be right.

Curious, Steel, where does Tomlin fit into the Steelers' ineptitude?

Tonkin is not a bad coach. Players have brain farts from time to time. Today was strictly our offense couldn't get into sync and a lot of the penalties came from that.

What about Ben's ineptitude in the losses on the road, he's the 100 million franchise QB. I suppose it's Tomlin's fault when Ben throws a int or make the wrong read , forcing the ball to AB when other WRs were open.

I don't disagree with that. Ben's performance has been extremely disappointing and no, it's not Tomlin's fault when Ben does something stupid. But it is Tomlin's fault when the team doesn't look prepared to play against an inferior team. It is Tomlin's fault when he can't seem to manage the game clock. It is Tomlin's fault when they don't seem to make in-game adjustments and just keep doing the same crap over and over again resulting in an exercise in futility. It is Tomlin's fault when the coordinators don't seem to have a viable game plan. When is the head coach accountable? I think the talent Tomlin has to work with is more than sufficient but he's not bringing out the best in them. Maybe he can turn it around, we'll see. But at this point here we are again in the same position we seem to be in every year, hoping for a strong second half so we can somehow squeak into the playoffs. You and I will have to agree to disagree about Tomlin. I think at this point he's underperforming as a head coach and needs to be held accountable for it. I don't necessarily think that means we fire him now or even at the end of the season, but if I were Art Rooney I think I'd invite Tomlin to my office tomorrow morning to have a little chat about the flat performance of this football team and what the expectations are the second half of the season.

Tomlin was asked today if he thought about just abandoning the run and he said no. He said since the game was still a one score game that it was fine for them to keep running. He said they didn't want to become one dimensional until they had to. Them trying to keep running today though just reeked of stubbornness. It didn't seem like it was meant to be today.
