I take my youngest son to a Steeler game every year. It is time for our annual father/son game. We have been to Heinz field at least 1 time a year since 2005. But we have always sat in the upper deck up to about row M. We are coming up for the Panther game Thursday and I want to sit down a little closer.

What is the lowest row we want to get and still be able to see the game?

I usually is sit in the 500 level too... I actually like it because you can see the whole game.

Once we had tickets on the lower level at the 50 yard line... It was great when they were in the middle of the field, but at each end zone you couldn't really tell what was going on.

At least on the Steelers side of the field, a lot of people seated near the field stand a lot just to see over players and equipment. People in the back say 8 rows seem to be fine.

This right here. Must say that I've sat in the club seats a bunch of times (200's between the 20's) are they are good as well. But overall, give me the 500 level every game.

Seats go Row A to Z (1st 26 rows), Then double rows AA-LL
That's on the 500 level. It's pretty similar to the lower field level too.

So basically if your row A your front row of your seciton.

I understand I how the seats go, dont mean that to sound like a smart a**. I just know you can get too low and not get a real good view of the field. Like hockey, its great to be down next to the glass but as far as watching the game, it sucks.

This is the info I was looking for. So if we are 10 rows or higher, we should be able to see?

Yes, but at least 10. For example, if you are in section 132, I would aim about a third of the way back from the field or farther back.

Also, if you are in 132 I’ll toss you popcorn.

Low seats are good in the end zones when the play is down there. It’s down right awesome, but it’s terrible when it’s down the other end. If your field level I’d want to be 15-20 rows up, then it’s decent.
