And dreaming it is because the pats pretty much have a clear path to homefield throughout right now don't they? I honestly think tomorrow is a Super Bowl preview between the pats and packers. I could see the packers winning tomorrow but I think the pats will beat them in the Super Bowl.

I dont think this is a superbowl preview, and this is why: The patriots have the better defense especialy with Browner and Revis patrolling the back side, they will make it tough on Rodgers, the pats are potent on offense with Gronk leading that receiver group and they handily beat denver, the pats are a cold weather team so that wont be a problem, and they should shut down the packs running game, so I see the brady bunch winning this game by at least 14 points....

The only reason I think the pats might not win this game is that I could see Bill trying to keep a little up his sleeve in case they meet again in the Super Bowl. I just don't know if he would throw the whole playbook at them ya know? I absolutely think they are the better overall team. Who do you think will represent the NFC this year if the packers don't? Seattle is the only other team I could see doing it.

anything can happen between now and then BFT. tom tom could get broken into little bits by then. blount could walk off the field. revis could get marooned on his island. darth hoodie could go against luke and the force could take him out. rogers - with this one the force is strong.:smiley1::cool:

The seahawks are playing the best defense in the NFC right now, and the Eagles are scoring points and playing good defense so they have a chance at 9-3, the cards were hot but since palmer is out their chances are thin with a backup who cant score: If the Hawks keep it up I wouldnt be surprised to see them going deep in the playoffs even if they are a wildcard, defense wins the big games we all know that and unfortunately for the packers thats their one glaring weakness, they will probably win their division but after hosting 1 game they will be vulnerable on the road so their chances are 50-50 in making it to the superbowl in my opinion.......

Yeah the Hawks are actually starting to get people back that had been out. Sunday was the best they've looked all year. The Eagles have Sanchez and when he has to play an actual good defense he turns the ball over. I don't see the Eagles making any real noise. Green Bay's d is the weak link but they can score with anybody and if Lacy is running well it will help them out quite a bit. I definitely think the Super Bowl is the pats to lose. I would like to see Brady play that seattle d in the Super Bowl though if we aren't gonna make it. We saw how manning fared against them and I would like to see what they could do to Brady and Gronk.

NE better hope they don't have to face Baltimore, they've had their number lately.

Yeah but the way the pats are playing now they look pretty unstoppable. I really think as long as Gronk stays healthy the pats are gonna go all the way. I just don't see how anybody can stop them at this point. I honestly hope we get to play them though because I would LOVE to see AB go up against Revis. I would love to see if he could keep his streak going against a great cb like Revis.

The pats thumped the ravens last year, and it was a lot worse than what they did to us.

Yeah it seems the playoff trend the last few years has the team coming off the bye coming out flat ,while the team that played the week before is more ready to play....so one can hope. I detest the pats....

Not in the playoffs, Ravens should have sent them packing the lat two times they faced them.

Not totally true as the stats show a 56 percent win average over the last 5 years after a bye week, more shocking is the steelers rank in top 5 for wins after a bye week over the last 5 years...

Overall Winning Percentage of Teams Returning from Bye Week

Over the last five years, from 2008 through the 2013 season, teams returning from a bye week have a collective record of 87-67-2. That's 87 wins, 67 losses, and 2 ties for a winning percentage of 56.1%.
